"Ideal for those seeking a rustic environment in a authentic portugese aged manor house. Made very welcome by the owners who speak good english.Do not expect the 4 star service of a modern hotel. The biggest problem we found was returning to this hotel in the dark. It can be difficult to find as it is tucked away on the outskirts of Vila Real." - PAUL SOENS

From Lisbon - take highway A6 towards Evora. Leave it on teh first detour pointing Evora. You are now in N114. Follow it until Evora and then follow the signs to Beja and Algarve. Portel is about 30 minutes from Evora, heading south. |
