Regal Resort Port Douglas

I liked the facilities and the room was quite good.The bed was King size and very comfortable.Spa was a real plus.And in fact the only drawback for me was the size of the tv, it was absolutely "tiny".

Absoutely faultless! The staff were so friendly and helpful it was refreshing. Superb accommodation, excellently equipped - even down to the thoughtful inclusion of a tupperware style box (how often on holiday do you open some food item and wish you had something to store it in in the fridge??) Also a superb, central location - convenient yet very quiet. Would recommend to anyone!

Staff were helpful and very friendly. The location was excellent. A wonderful stay.

The managers were very welcoming and accommodating with my check in. I arranged a tour of the barrier reef with them...Wavelength and they also arranged for transportation to and from the airport in Cairns. I loved the in room spa.

Studio 1 bedroom apartment don't expect a normal kitchenette, no microwave, wash up dishes in bathroom sink. TV and DVD remotes didn't work, dialled reception and no one answered, could have been because of xmas not sure, i would stay again, now i know what to expect but not in December the humidity was unbearable, air con i think is on its way out and the fan either barely goes or goes full out. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. I would take my own food, Port Douglas very expensive and all food i expenienced there was absolute the worst i have ever eaten and just ate because was sick of wasting money trying to find something that was even half descent. Being the climate and location i think all establishments just get the young and new chefs or backpackers,seen alot of advertisements for new chefs! No wonder the food was crap. Won't hurry back though. . . if ever.

Right in the centre of town. Close to all restaurants. Managers Bob and Cheryl went out of their way to help us and carried our bags up to our room. The apartment was great, with everything we could have wished for. The pool was small but perfect for my wife who has bad knees.

This resort is in a fantastic location; the shops, bars and restaurants are literally round the corner. The beach is minutes away and the marina is only a 10-minute walk.

Great location for the beach and the town. Small pool and early checkout time (10am) let it down slightly.

Great place to stay, room was to a very high standard. The managers were very friendly and helpful. Considering that we were there the night Cyclone Larry crossed the coast the staff were very helpful ensuring that we had a torch and candles and new the emergency procedure if Cyclone Larry was a direct threat to our safety. A white board in the foyer was regularly updated with the cyclone's progress. Overall a top class venue.

We stayed 3 nights in a studio room which had full facilities for breakfast. Room was equipped with, fridge, toaster, kettle etc., Supurb bath area looking over the waterfall and pool. No restaurant on site but really not necassary as all was within a short walk. Would certainly recommend if staying longer to choose an apartment with full facilites. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Excellant. Would stay again.

Nice rooms. Very helpful, friendly staff arranged good tours and airport transportation very quickly. Short walk to stores, wharf, restaurants, beach and bus stop for good local transportation.

I would definitely return to this Hotel. It is a very relaxing and restful place.

We had the best hotel room I've ever stayed in. Jacuzzi in the bathroom and an enormous balcony with an outdoor spa, shaded areas, with lots of chairs, sun loungers and even a bbq. The reception staff were also extremely helpful when advising what to see and do.

Real friendly staff ...super location for shops and beach in Port Douglas. This was one of the top places I stayed in Australia!
