Regency On The Beach is a 4 star quality resort located right on one of Queenslands best beaches. Being centrally located on the Gold Coast, we are just far enough away from the noisy crowds to be ideal for family groups and those just wanting to relax. Our impressive reception foyer, featuring an 8-floor atrium, leads to a heated pool and spa, sauna, mini-gym and games room and then right onto the sands of Palm Beach. You can also use the safe waters and sandy beaches of the Tallebudgera Creek which is only a short walk from the resort. The nearby Surf Life Saving Club not only patrols the beach each day of the year, but also offers family bistro-style meals every day. Should you prefer to BBQ, you can choose from those on the beach level at the resort or on the rooftop where you will also enjoy panoramic views of the Gold Coast. The rooms boast all mod cons, including air-conditioning, together with private balconies and cable TV.

Getting there:By Car... If coming from the Pacific Motorway, take Reedy Creek Rd, Burleigh EXIT and follow through to the Gold Coast Highway, turn right into the highway and we are just over the Tallebudgera Creek. If coming from Coolangatta, 20 mins drive north along Gold Coast Highway, do a U-turn at Tallebudgera Surf Club and come back 50 metres. Drive straight in. By Air... Coolangatta airport and taxi to resort $15-20. By Train... From Brisbane Airport or Brisbane central catch train to Robina and then bus or taxi to resort. The local bus service running between Tweed Heads and Southport runs 24 hours a day and stops right outside the door. Bus stop 38.
Check-in Procedure:Check In Time: 1400hrs, Check Out Time: 1000hrs Office hours are 8:30am - 5pm Mon to Fri, 8:30am - 3pm Sat and 8:30am -12noon Sun. After hours access to the building is via a key safe and guests need to contact the office or our answering service to obtain the combination.
Car parking:Secure, underground parking available for all guests.
Child Policy:Extra Person is $22.00 per night paid direct to Regency. (Extra person =3rd person in 1 Brm & 5th person in 2 brm) Cots available on request.

good location, quiet and clean.A bit run down though, needs a bit of maintenence done, things broken and did not work etc. Over priced, could have done better on a standby rate at a better place.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The location is excellent with most/all rooms having a sea view. There are numerous restaurants and fast-food outlets within walking distance, including the Tallebudgera Surf Life Saving Club, which is 50 metres away (good value meals). The apartments are well provisioned and comfortable. The resort facilities (pool, spa, sauna, BBQ's etc) are spotless and very well maintained. The resident managers are very friendly and helpful (and I got upgraded from a studio to a one-bedroom apartment on arrival). I couldn't find fault with anything. I will definitely stay again.
Really lovely location, our balcony looked out over the ocean and it was only a one minute walk to the beach! Staff really laid back and friendly too. I will definitely be staying here again!
The place is awesome. We had a beach facing full apartment, with good selection of utensils in the kitchen, a full laundry, and a very clean and neat decor. Beach and pool access was at the door. Good security. Free parking in the building. The website should actually say that some things like dishwashing liquid (1 small sachet) and toilet paper (1 roll) are complimentary, so that people know they must bring their own. The day service was good, but the after hours service was awful (this being the only complaint I have). Whenever I called after hours, the person on call had no knowledge of the services, or local info, e.g bus service timetable, or where to call, questions about the theme parks etc. I constantly got the response "sorry, I don't have that info and you would have to wait for the office to open". This make it abit difficult when trying to plan stuff the night before. Would definitely return though and would recommend the place to others.
Stayed for 7 nights at Regency on the beach in January 2011. The Rooms where good, as where the facilities. But best of all was the beach right outside your doorstep. Thanks, Regency on the beach, We had a great stay. :)

Great Spot - Close to everywhere we wanted to go. I would have to say the only thing that could be improved was a bit more of a thorough cleaning. Carpet was pretty badly stained in bedroom and lounge. The airvent and ontop of the wall tiles was a very thick layer of dust, but it wouldn't stop me from staying there again.
The 1 bedroom Apartment was great and my only challenge was that there was nothing to say we needed to supply our own toilet paper after the initial roll ran out. Needless to say, with no tissues life was a tad difficult :). I would definitely stay there again!!!!

Regency on the Beach served my purpose very well. It was very reasonably priced, close to the friends I wanted to visit, clean, and had all the amenities I needed.
Loved everything about the Regency on the beach Gold Coast. It's location is a lot quieter than Surface Paradise but only minutes away. The beach is only a few steps from the motel and is spectacular. The surf club is only a building or two away and was very conveinient for a meal and a night out. I would defeniately jump at the chance to go back again.
Regency on the Beach Gold Coast was great to stay at, however I think the hotel & facilities would benefit from a refurbishment. Staff are excellent. Position close to beach is very good, but depending on purpose of stay hotel is a more than walking distance from anything.

I found that the staff will do anything for you within reason. clean, facilities good location great magnificient view. loved the bbq facilities on the roof top. Pricing is great especially last minute arrangemnets. will recommend
Palm beach . Outstanding room with balcony location with terrific view of beach and ocean. Very quiet area south of Surfers with no retail stores . (must drive 10 minutes). Highly recommend if you want peace and quiet.
Very pleasant stay. The location is fantastic - right on the surf beach with a 5 min stroll to the calm waters of Tally Creek. Washing machine didn't work but as it was a short stay we didn't bother following this up. The room looked a bit worn but was clean. We had mountain views which also has traffic noise (as advertised) but this did not bother us and we enjoyed watching the sun set over the mountains. Loved the BBQ area on the roof top - shady for day use and beautiful under the stars at night. The pool was small but with the beach and creek available there are plenty of swimming options. Didn't use the sauna or gym but looked well equiped. Overall enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area on the Gold Coast.
