Excellent position near the railway station (10 minutes to Venice) a parking nearby (5€ a day) as well as the bus to Venice airport.
Friendly staff, clean and restored recently. Room and bathroom small. Breakfast better than we expected (Italy). Good location close to Mestre railway station and the ATVO airport bus. Easy access by bus or train to Venice in 10-15 minutes, bus tickets can be bought in the tobacconist just outside the hotel. A very good alternative to the expensive hotels in Venice.
Modern facilities. good rooms. clean rooms. average breakfast. no parking. good price.
The hotel is very close to the train station, so very convenient. The buffet breakfast was limited and if you wanted a second cup of coffee, you had to pay 2Euros. The wireless internet was very expensive, but there was a much cheaper place across the street and up a block. For the first 2 nights we had no heat, but they did get it working for the third night and it worked very well.
i stayed here for one night, so that i could fly out of marco polo in the morning. very clean, small rooms. nice front desk guy.
Good value for money hotel. nice alternative if you want to stay a few days in Venice, although you have to travel 10 km by (excellent) public transport.
Nice and clean hotel for a good price. Nice breakfast...
We checked in about 10am and the manager promised us he would move our bags from the lobby to our room when it was available at midday. We returned back late and found our bags still in the lobby. His excuse the next morning was derisory. We wouldn't stay again at this hotel for this service but don't let this put you off. It is a relatively affordable hotel in a good location and our room was perfectly satisfactory for a short stay.
The hotel is not located on the island of Venice Central, but is only a 10 minute train ride away and is much cheaper than any on island hotels. Hotel was clean and seemed newly refurbished. Very close to train station, turn right upon leaving Mestre Station then turn left at the first main road, the hotel is next to the traffic lights. The staff are very friendly and courteous but some speak very little English. They will help you in any way they can though. I would stay here again happily.
The price is relatively cheap for the tourists who want to visit Venice or other cities by local train since the hotel is closed to the train station. The room is not wide but clean. The breakfast is not much but enough.
Good location to visit Venice, close to bus stop. Reception staff very helpful. Good breakfast.
If you can't find a hotel on the islands of Venice, this is a very good option. Close to the railway and bus station. Good quality for the price. When asked for information at the reception, we could get very precise helpful answer.
I picked this hotel because of the location right near the bus stop and train station, and the low cost (for the Venice area) of 78 Euro. I had a ground floor unit which was small but had a bathroom which had recently been adapted for the physically challenged so it was nice and large. I only spent the one night (before catching a cruise the next day out of Venice). If I need the quick one night stop-over again, I would choose the Regit. Did not have their breakfast, which was 10 Euro extra.
It was quite a small room but clean. There was a lift which was handy. Only a ten minute train ride (after less than a five minute walk from hotel to the station) into the centre of Venice and these trains pass frequently. The surrounding streets are not that well lit at night, so we were cautious returning to the hotel at that time. We also saw prostitutes coming in and out of the hotel a couple of times for the three nights we were there. Good price (70 Euro for a double room, not including breakfast) compared to accomodation prices in central Venice. Breakfast was 7 Euro person and although you can save a lot by buying it else where (the corner cafe or train station or in Venice itself), it may be worth the convenience.
Small room but sufficient for what we wanted. Needed to leave early (before official breakfast time) and the manager said that was no problem and we had breakfast at 7am. I would stay there again.
Excellent staff. Knowledgable and very helpful. The rooms window was boarded up for ongoing renovations, and we were not informed of this in advance. Bathroom was pristeen, matress was very firm.
The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful, advised us about all sorts of arrangements and were always very pleasant. One minus was a very slow check-out procedure, that must be improved. But the rest was very positive, a nice hotel with A/C in rooms and a good standard. With only 15 minutes to Venice by bus, this should be a good option for people that shy away from the overpriced hotels in Venice. Parking option awailable nearby, 4 Euros per day.
I couldn't rate this hotel high enough! The location, price, cleanliness was fantastic. I will definatley be coming back here.
good budget price hotel for exploring Venice, some difficulty with speaking English, but manageable.
The hotel provided a good value for money. Breakfast was good, it would have been even perfect if some vegetables were added. We stayed in a triple room which was spacious and comfortable and bathroom was big enough. The location is very good in terms of access to historical Venice. The bus stop is just arround the corner and it takes you to Venice just in 10 min. for 1.5 euro. For those who are interested in good overnight sleep, convenient location, affordable price and adequate services I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation.
