The staff was very understanding, friendly, and easy to check in/out with. Our room was clean and was taken care of everyday in a very neat and non-invasive manner. Hotel internet connection was good enough for communication and it was within a perfect walking distance to most of the major sites. Nice beds, hot showers (with a full bathtub), and I liked the safe in my room too.
Hotel is close to DAM Square, within a 15 minute walk from Centraal Station. Staff were friendly. wifi was free for thirty minutes but you had to pay after that which is off puting. Nice location and if you're not planning on spending much time in your hotel room it's ideal.
Great location , friendly, efficent staff. Would return.
Fast Check-in and checkout. Great staff. Gave us valuable info places to go and what to do, etc. The rooms are the average European Downtown hotels. Small but enough to leave your bags take a shower and rest. Just the first 30 min of wifi are free. The hotel is close to every main attraction in Amsterdam. Walking takes an aproximate 10 minutes to Dam Plaza and 20 minutes going south to hard rock cafe.
location is about 15 minutes walk from central station..breakfast is ok..bit dissappointed when we arrived there..we waited for about 10 minutes before we finally get our room..the room is a bit small..not an american standard room...
Nice, modern hotel in antique old grand house, everything good except no privacy in bathroom, which was in full view due to the large full glass door, dividing the two rooms.
Hotel experience was decent. Room was fine, however there was an annoying constant noise coming from the bathroom. The hotel only allowed us to leave our suitcases there till 2pm and we had an 8pm flight - when we picked up our bags they had ample available free space so I felt they could have accommodated us if they had wanted to.
Very nice, a reasonable sized double room overlooking an inner courtyard, very clean, well appointed, very quiet. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location.
Very good location. Internet price (95E) ok. Room on 4th floor, very quiet, comfortable, bathroom very small, no room to put cosmetic bag, but for one or two nights, no problem.
Excellent location, close to the metro and in the middle of the center.
very nicely located
One thing to mention: The hotel is really Classic, means old. The reception area is nice and modern, however the rooms are quite old & small. I stayed on the ground floor, there was an unbearable noise all nights. The room (claimed to be a double room) was smaller than a single I stayed at another place in Brussels.
Excellent location, nice and clean rooms, good service. A hotel to consider if you need accommodation in the center.
Excellent Location. Walking distance to everything on a wonderful quiet street yet completely central. Rooms very basic. No sound insulation. Fortunately guest who stayed in the hotel were quiet so was not a problem. Generous breakfast. .. Did not get my free bottle of water that was indicated on the voucher - I also forgot to ask for it.
Perfect location. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Rooms adequate.
Great location on the canal and a short walk from the Central train station, and to the Dam. The service was professional and friendly. The standard room was compact, but clean and tidy. Thank you.
This was a very good offer. Small price, but great location, service and breakfast!
The location is good but the rooms are a bit small.
The staff of the hotel were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. There were 2 negative points which couldn't have been rectified by the staff, but would have made our stay more comfortable - namely no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and a very badly laid out bathroom, in which there was a shower attachment in a bath which didn't even allow us to stand up due to the adjacent sloping ceiling. Lovely location on the canalside.
My single room was quite small, although i booked double room and paid price for double room ( eur 58). Otherwise room was OK. Staff in hotel is friendly. Location of hotel is very good, to the Dam square is 5 minutes walking. Breakfast is not very goog, scramled eggs should be done in better way and salamies are catastrophic. Coffee from machine is excellent.
