Nice hotel. Good and friendly staffs.

This is the best hotel in Malacca. The rooms are big and the staff were very friendly and pleasant.... My family loved their stay. The restaurants in the hotel are top notch

Renaissance Melaka Hotel is quite good except the check in queue was too long and their cafe could not handle the influx of guests. We waited for 20 mins to get into the cafe for breakfast, but once inside, food was limited, with no glass or plates to be used. If not for the unpleasant experience in the cafe and the unnecessary waiting time at check in, the experience in Renaissance will be perfect.

I have stayed in this Hotel at least 3 times. The reason for going back is its charm. The aromatheraphy scent from the lobby to the bedroom excites both my wife and sons. There is no lingering scent that we noticed in this recent visit. At the reception the service is much better than our last visit. Our impression of the hotel differs when we walked out and noticed how dated the hotel is on the outside. I think some R and R is due.

Perhaps a complimentary parking can be provided.

The location was great and and the pricing is reasonable. I drove up to Malacca for this trip with my friends and there was no problem finding our way there. Although there were some delays with our requests on servicing the toilet door and the additional beds, it was a pleasant experience afterall. Would recommend this place to my friends.

Good service, rooms good size. swimming pool in need of renovatiom.

Good position, ten minutes walk to the old town. The pool is nice, rooms are comfortable and the hotel lobby is impressively bright. It is a good location from where to start exploring Malacca.

noisy...sound from outside, next door... people chatting...children playing...etc.... seem like this hotel don't have a good sound blocking system. Others are all good and satisfied...

My favourite hotel in Malacca. Convenient to many places such as Chinatown as well as walking distant to shopping areas like Mahkota parade and Dataran Pahlawan (new shopping mall). Rooms are alway clean and neat.

- Centrally located - Close proximity to local food stalls and food center next to river - Free shuttle bus to main shopping malls (Mahkota Parade/Pahlawan Megamall) - Walking distace to Jonker Street(15 minutes)

Generally, an adequate hotel that is well managed. The breakfasts were OK, but not outstanding, and the room generally was in reasonable condition. Bottom line is I would probably stay here again.

Nice hotel close to everything you need.

The overall experience was good although the furnishing is a little dated. Great service at the front desk with them addressing me by name. However, restaurant service staff is below average with a don't care attitude.

It was generally easy to find the hotel but while driving in Melaka, the one-way roads do throw you off and can be a problem finding your way out of or back to the hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and they met you with a smile anytime of the day, making you feel good even when you're tired from a long road trip.
