This is a delightful little hotel, more in line with a B&B than an actual hotel. I found the staff very friendly and the accomodation appropriate for a very reasonable price.
The Hotel was very pleasant and the staff very helpful, sadly they did not provide any evening meals so you you needed to venture out to eat, the room was acceptable from a one night business point of view would consider other Hotels if i was going to stay longer.
Ideal if you need a hotel just for the night.
This is my second stay in this hotel and my comments remain the same, there is one thing I would like to add. There is one member of staff, Peter I think his name is what a great bloke a real asset to the hotel. I stayed in the same room as I stayed in 6 years ago and the decor hasn't changed at all.
Great little hotel, it needed updating but it was generally clean (there were a couple of minor things that needed sorting) and the staff are great (bar 1) its location is good for public transport, shopping and seeing the sights. I enjoyed my stay and will be going there again in a couple of weeks
A perfect hotel for a weekend in Glasgow, just 50 metres from the main (Sauchiehall) street. The rooms are good in size and the breakfast cooked to order.
Room very small but the price was right.
A basic but clean and comfortable hotel in a good location and is very good value for money - do not confuse it with the other Rennie MacKintosh hotel near Central station.
The staff was very friendly and cheerful. We needed to have an early breakfast one day and they arranged that. They also had a room behind the reception desk (instead of just a corner in the lobby) where we could store our luggage for a few hours after checking out.
Nothing fancy, but clean and breakfast was fine. A little more choice of cereals etc would have been good. Would have preferred slightly more info in room and a remote for TV ! !
Only choose this hotel if stairs are not a problem as there are a lot of them to negotiate. Cheap & cheerful.
