"this hotel was very cheap by US standards, and thought the hotel itself was ok (clean, nice big bed), it doesn't do breakfast and the only place to get breakfast nearby was the 24 hour donut place across the street. the main drawback to this hotel is location - it is on a seedy part of Market St, opposite a sex cinema. very noisy, and we didn't feel safe walking back there at night. can jump on a bus or street car literally outside the hotel though - but unfortunatley that's exactly what you want to do! if you on a real budget and can deal with tehnoise and the street people, then this si for you, but I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you are on your own." - Anonymous

Enjoy the stress-free access from/to SFO international airport by taking the Bay Area Rapid Transit (or BART = the underground ). The cost is only $4.95 one way, and the Renoir Hotel is situated on the street level of the Civic Center station. Please exit on the 7th and Market Street exits (elevators & escalators available), the Renoir Hotel is just across the street.
From OAK Airport, we also recommend you to take the AirBart shuttle ($2.00) or a cab from the airport to get to the coliseum BART station. Take any train (Fare is $ 3.15 /Time 40 minutes) which goes to downtown San Francisco and get off at the Civic Center station. Follow signs for Jones and McAllister st. exit. The hotel is right in front! This option is the most economical.
