The staff was great, always helpful. The breakfast was handy and very pleasant. It was easy to use the metro to get to the places we wanted to go. This is not a fancy place but very clean. It is my kind of place because I can save my money to do other things.
About the facilities, ther was only WIFI acces in the receptoind area.
Hi Everybody! This hotel is a small hotel 2 min from metro. So this is very convenient to see all the landmarks from Paris. The room was small and the view was horrible. The bathroom smell and it wasn't clean. Also the stuff had a really bad behaviour expect one woman in the morning. No Breakfast unless you pay 9 euros for coffee and marmalade. Stay only if you are travelling for very little days.
It is a very good hotel for the price. It was nice and clean, and had all the facilities needed. Location is great. Just around the corner from Metro station and nice little cafe. Not huge rooms, but big enough to do what a hotel is there for...sleep in.
If you have a room into the courtyard, you avoid the street-noise. We had a room in 2nd floor and there you had to switch on the light during the day. In the surroundings you have good choices for dining not to expensive.
Decent location but hotel itself could really use some refurbishment, it's hard to complain at the rates offered through [website] but I certainly wouldn't pay the rates displayed in the hotel itself which were considerably higher. We had to change rooms as in the first room both the sink and shower were broken. No A/C, get one of the rooms with two windows.
too small elevator
I'have stayed 4 days in this hotel, and it was lovely. I had first a room without a bad and I wanted one. So i have asked them if it is possible and it was no problem, without extra payments i had the other room. The rooms are very quiet, but not so spaceys, but we are only for the nights in the room. I recommend this hotel for every one
Hotel staff were the most helpful I have found in Paris. Location was average for a women staying by herself but can't do much about that.
very pleasant hotel, nothing fancy but nice eccentric rooms and pleasant staff. very central, walking distance from Gare du Nord An enjoyable stay.
It was an okey hotel but the breakfast wasn´t that good that everone had been writing about! I thought it was kind of poor. The room was small but nice. A good advice is to not use the computer in the lobby, it costs 8 euro per hour, and is SO, SO slow! It took us an hour just to check and answer some mails! Visit one of the many internetscafés in the area instead. Nice staff though.
The Hotel is basic but clean. Very good location. Easy access to all parts of Paris with the metro.
Easy access to Metro and only 2 stops from Gare du Nord makes it convenient for a short sight-seeing stay. Good buffet breakfast.
our room was small
Good value for the price, walking distance from Gare du Nord, metro station on the other side of the street. Friendly and helpful English speaking reception. Room clean and quiet, large bathroom. The buffet breakfast was suprisingly good and plentiful.
Nice breakfast, inlcuded in the room rate which is rather exceptional for Paris. Well located close to the city center and just next to a subway station. The room was clean but had a bad smell (humid).
Pleasant hotel, we surely come back.
Very good value for money. Good breakfast. Only little problem about it, the display for saussages was broken and saussages were not on the menu for breakfast. Good hotel though, I am returning there next week
The personal is very kind and the rooms have a good size : not too small, not too big. The breakfast is very good. On the metro line 5 there's a good access to Gare de Lyon and the main places to visit. We did a lot on foot because the weather was great and the hotel is not far from Les Halles and Galerie Lafayette.
a) free or low-priced (and easy-to-use) Internet connection is a must nowadays. there was none at Republique Les Halles Pavillon Paris. i'd most certainly stay there again if they had free Wi-Fi! b) the water tank of the toilet was leaking and also the drain of the washing sink. c) didn't find BBC nor CNN on TV. only french channels!
