"The hotel is situated amidst the bustle of Sicilian street life, but is itself quiet, and comfortable. Rooms seem to have own cooking facilities. Staff were welcoming and very helpful in providing both an early start to catch a flight from the airport, for which it is conveniently located, and secure parking for our car. The hotel has no restaurant, but the adjacent ones looking onto the Norman castle offer exceptional value for money." - Ian Carson

The Residence Hotel "La Vetreria" is situated in the historical centre of Catania, nearby the "Castello Ursino". It is located in a charming view enclosing the city roofs, the Etna volcano, reaching down to the seaside of Augusta. The pure and cosy atmosphere of La Vetreria will make you feel at home. In our 22 bedrooms divided into13 apartments, you can find both the recovered traditions and modern comforts of technology. Indeed, all rooms have got an independent air conditioning, telephone, Internet connection, satellite TV and a private bathroom including hairdryer.
Kitchens are furnished with the most modern and functional equipment such as microwave; dishwasher is also available in some apartments. An apartment is predisposed for disabled guests.
