"Located in a quiet neighborhood, this is a decent hotel with friendly and attentive staff. Very good breakfast. As for the room - it was a bit dusty - the bed cover especially and I found empty soda bottle underneath the bed, so it made me wonder how often they vacuum. However, the bathroom was clean and roomy (exception for Paris!). Another advantage is a little kitchen in the room with the microwave, fridge and stove and dishes at your disposal (if you ever get tired of eating out in Paris!!). "If your looking for a short stay in Paris which is very reasonably priced and with quite a good location then the Residence Monceau Etoile Paris should definitely be considered. Good points are: price, location, surrounding streets of restuarants, supermarkets and some market stalls. Have read that bed was uncomfortable as it is a fold out sofa. Yes it is a fold out sofa but quite comfortable. Breakfast was good. Have also read reviews that comment on thinness of the walls and noise. This was OK. Bad points: if you need space in your room then this is not the place. Room is quite cramped and small. Bathroom the same with only a shower. My final judgement is, I was going to Paris for a couple of days sightseeing again on a budget then, I would stay there again." - Michael Webster
