excellent small hotel in excellent central location .. staff friendly and nice
It was very noisy, because they did some building work, otherwise it was good.
Fantastic helpful and friendly staff. The location is excellent.
Rooms are very small however given the location and prices they were adequate. The service was great particularly the front desk staff who helped with all our enquiries re Lisbon and surrounds.
Our first experience about hotel wasn´t so good because doorknob of our room drop off and we had to change room to smaller without minibar. Bathroom was really small. Location was great for us. Anyway hotel was quite okey and we had good time in Lisbon.
The location is excellent;on a major street, only few meters from the aerobus and town bus stop and metro station, not far from the old town. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean with a very conveniant bathroom. It is a very good budget hotel.
I was positively impressed by this residencial. Not only the location, which is close to perfect, but they have a very nice and clean room as well as free Internet... In fact, I was told that the Internet only works in the lobby, but perhaps I was lucky and was able to surf from my room. Perfect. Can only recommend.
The hotel was in a great location, very clean.Staff were friendly. Only thing was that the twin room they gave us was tiny with the terrible view of a wall outside the window. Other than that, its right in city centre which is brilliant.
Everything was fine, except that I was woken up every time someone walked passed my room since the steps echoed on the corridor floor. The room factilities are a bit on the spartan side, but that was a minor point.
it's a good hotel, good staff but small room and very noise. In any case is a good choose to visit lisbon.
We found this to be an excellent small hotel in a great location. The reception service was exceptional providing advice on all the local attractions, making phone calls and bookings on our behalf. The rooms were very small but extremely clean with all requirements met.
Great location. Friendly staff. Room not great for sitting and relaxing in, mind you, who would want to when you're visiting a great city like Lisboa. My room was close to the breakfast room which meant I was woken by the clanking of plates at 7am, not a great thing after getting home at 4am! Take earplugs just in case!
Nice and cosy. The only problem to refer is the car noise during the night if the room is facing Av. da Liberdade.
Nothing to fault in this hotel except for uncomfortable pillows but to be honest we didn't complain as the rest of the facilities for the price were very good. Close to the centre, good shopping, metro and decent breakfast meant this was a good value hotel but a little overrated at 4 stars (by reason of there being no restaurant or bar facilities).
Good breakfast, centrally located, Internet in rooms
Charming hotel and charming gentlemen on the desk.
Whilst the location of this hotel is good, right in the centre of the main designer shopping strip and a short walk to the old town, the staff need to work on their service levels. Our booking was meant to include an airport transfer and I called the hotel the day before to confirm this. As the hotel's internet was down they promised to reimburse us for the airport bus. Upon check in this was refused and the internet being down was basically seen as bad luck and our problem by the reception staff. The guest internet was also down while we were there. The breakfast was simple but very fresh and plenty available. The room was pleasant, quiet and clean. Upon checkout they overcharged our credit card by EUR50 which I luckily picked up whilst walking out so was able to get a refund but there was no apology. Overall, a pleasant hotel but the attitude of the reception is a concern. They should focus on putting the customer first.
This is a very good hotel which is a very short walk from the centre of the old city. A few difficult steps at the entrance and a fairly ordinary breakfast.
Very good location but I was expecting more for the price. The room was small, bathroom really small.
Main door hard to spot and reception is on the second floor. Hotel good value and pleasant. About 1.2km into centre. Bus stops are close by with frequent buses from airport, station and centre passing by as it's a main route. Some airport buses stop at Marques de Pombol but it's only 150m up the road.
