"hotel very grand and imposing, room a bit dated for the price. we have stayed in better 4 star hotels.
breakfast very expensive and hot buffet was cold, chef could not cook poached eggs. pool cafe poor value and staff not very good.
grounds absolutely fabulous, lovely pools and spa. desk concierge did not even have the good manners to ask if we had enjoyed our stay as we checked out and paid him 1068 euros for 5 nights. we were a bit disappointed and would not stay again" - Anonymous

"This is a real five star hotel, but has a five star price for room service and snacks. Due to it's location you can't just nip out for a bite to eat or a coffee and you are not restricted to the hotel's prices. That said, the facilities are excellent and the Spa is superbly equiped and the pools and gym are included in the room rate. The outdoor pool is a real bonus and, I suspect, rare for Barcelona.
