Richmond Hill Hotel Melbourne

The room was very run down with items needing attention. The staff at the front desk I would give 20/10 and the gardener were just so nice, this added to the character of the property. The Bed was very comfortable.

Staff vey helpful in organising a room as HotelClub didn't forward booking to them. Fanastic old melbourne hotel, with great staff. Pick it due to location.

Great position close to trams and access to the CBD. Good shopping and eating nearby. Easy parking as well. Will stay there again.

The sitting areas and the breakfast room were beautiful, clean and modern. The bedrooms, on the other hand, were not. The carpet was filthy and the furniture needed dusting. We paid $130 a night for our room (a double and a single) which I thought was costly based on the quality. The location was very good and that was primarily the reason we stayed there. The hotel would be much more welcoming and comfortable with just a little bit more detail to the appearance, comfort and functionality of the bedrooms.

Good basic accommodation.TV didn't work on arrival that night but was soon sorted out the next day. Pleasant atmoshphere and a friendly welcome.

Very quite location, will recommend to others, will be back

A clean comfortable hotel with Old World Charm. Being escorted to our room was a nice touch, the breakfast included in the tarrif was excellent and the free car parking also a bonus.Staff were friendly and helpful. Charming hotel with a nice relaxed atmosphere, will stay here again.

This hotel was perfect for our shopping expedition in and around Richmond. It is close enough for the nightlife of the city but the hotels and restaurants in Richmond are fabulous too. Breakfast was hearty and plentiful. The only downside was an early wake up call we hadnt actually ordered! Mistakes can be made anywhere though and wouldn't stop me using the hotel again. Highly recommended.

Obviously, we were very pleased with our stay. It is a charming old hotel and the personal are extremely helpfull.

Having stayed at a number of budget hotels, I was very impressed with the Richmond Hill Hotel. The room was very clean and quite stylish and smelt lovely when I opened the door. Although it had a shared bathroom, there were several on the same level and I had no trouble finding one available when needed. The buffet breakfast was excellent and even though I was late, the staff made me very welcome. I would happily recommend it.

Pleasant, courteous staff. Breakfast was an added bonus. Bed was a little hard. Overall, excellent value if you're on a budget.

Nice and friendly

We like this old style hotel (unlike modern), which bring memories from my old school days. The turns and the corners and the wood flooring, add to the experience. Breakfast is good. Fire-place lobby with sofas are nice and relex. It is located in quiet area, but 10 minutes walk, shops and restuarents are easily access on Bridge road and Swan Street. I would return with my kids for sure.

Well located for arrivals by car. Parking is available at no extra cost. A lovely building with charm. Non-ensuite rooms are very small and a bit stuffy. A bit overpriced for what is offered.

Fantastic location. Breakfast included in the rate is great, very comfortable dining room.
