The recently renovated Hotel Rila is situated in the center of Budapest, in a peaceful green area, close to the highway to the airport, just 3 stops by metro (M3 - blue line) from the heart of the city. The Hotel's convenient location attracts hotel and hostel guests, individual travelers, as well as business visitors. Hotel Rila also provides ideal environment for conferences and corporate seminars.

Getting there:From Keleti Pu. – Eastern Railway Station • By tram: take tram 24 – just 6 stops – to Nagyvárad tér. From Nagyvárad tér metro station walk out the Haller utca exit, walk one block on the left side of Haller utca, then turn left onto Fehér Holló utca. The Hotel Rila is directly ahead on the right. From the Ferihegy Airport We are ready to arrange a pick up for you, please, contact us. By public transport: take the bus from the airport to its end station (KÕbánya-Kispest) and from there the metro (M3). Get off at Nagyvárad tér metro station walk out the Haller utca exit, walk one block on the left side of Haller utca, then turn left onto Fehér Holló utca. The Hotel Rila is directly ahead on the right. By car from M1/M7: follow the directions towards Petõfi-híd (bridge). After crossing it take the very first right (Soroksári út)and at the 3rd traffic lights take a left. Go along that (Haller) street and our street is on your right about 500 m.

Four stops on the metro from the city centre, very quiet neighbourhood, and friendly helpful English speaking staff
Basic room, location a bit out of the centre (and trams stop early), breakfast not good, outside bar good (also does food).
The rooms are very basic, no TV or air conditioning. Whilst this is not necessarily a complaint, other Hotels on my holiday included one or both of these for a similar cost per night as this hotel. Whilst the Hotel is not central, there is only a 5 minute walk to the metro which will take you into the central city, so location is not a problem.
