Ripa Hotel is idealy located in the Trastevere. You are a short tram ride or walk to the centre of ancient Rome. Trastevere itself is a vibrant and active area with great restaurants cafes and bars.Prices are great compared to the other side of the Tiber in the more tourist area. Restaurants cater to the locals as well as the tourists. We were never over charged, prices were great and the food spectacular from most of the eateries in the area. There is a full supermarket two minutes from the Hotel. The hotel itself was great. Staff are very helpful. They speak every language of Europe. The rooms are large, comfortable, well appointed and very clean. This was our fourth visit to Rome and our second stay at the Ripa Hotel. Breakfast at the Hotel is exceptional and of high quality. We will definitely be back for the hotel and the area.
Stylish looks on the inside, outside look not so great. Breakfast was the best on our Italian trip, very good! Poor internet services: WIFI available at cost of € 5,- per 30 minutes!!! :-( Service good and location is super if you want to enjoy nearby Trastevere neighbourhood for wining and dining. Pleasant to have a balcony. Parking garage (paid) under the building. Would stay here again and go to internet cafe.
really not a nice location there was a tram to the center but very dirty around the streets the hotel was nice and a good brekfast ( a bit loud when full)
Clean Hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The basic room we had was huge and included a kitchenette and a balcony. The location was great - Trastevere is a fantastic place. Plenty of traditional restaurants and bars. Would stay again. Although the breakfast is not up to much!
Excellent - staff are helpful and friendly, the food was exceptional - looking forward to staying there again
The sofas and chairs in the suites are a little dirty with stains. On the bright side, the hotel and its suites had nice modern design and lots of space compared to other European hotels at the same price range. Breakfast was fantastic and had big variety. It was also very convenient to take the train directly to the airport from the hotel location.
The staff was very helpful. The so - called fitness room needs serious upgrading. It was lousy--only a treadmill and bike. Bkfst was good. Room was nice and spacious but the bathroom door needed planing. I would stay there again and i recommend it.
The room had a very good ambiquity and it was clean and pleasant at first site.
Very good breakfast buffet!
There is a anonymous, "average" feeling in the hotel. We had expected more atmosphere when coming to this "design hotel". The entrance is hidden by a rather ugly building opposite the hotel. The breakfast was very good, up to the four-star-rating of the hotel. Exellent connections, buses end trams, with different parts of Rome.
I liked the contemporary design of the hotel and the spaciousness and decor of the the room. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast buffet more than ample. It is not in the most attractive location, but easy to get to by train, and buses and you can walk right into the heart of Trastevere, across the bridges into the heart of Rome, and find many good small restaurants en route.
The Hotel is located within walking distance of the Travestere area with ample restaurants and bars for evenings out. The popular tourist spots are also within walking distance. There is a good selection of foodstuffs for the buffet breakfast and the hotel is very well kept. The style of the hotel was very appealing too.
For those who like design and don't like the usual Italian style this hotel is worth trying.
The room was big and nice. However, it lacked a desk for my computer… Good breakfast and OK location, about ten minutes from the heart of Trastevere (Santa Maria). When asked about using the gym the answer was that somebody was already using it – space for only one person at the time… Good value for the money.
Excellent hotel, though a bit pricy considering the very minimalistic breakfast that was served. In Italy you at least expect some vegetables and fruit for breakfast as well, and the coffee was bad.
Cool but calm place to stay. The surroundings of the hotel are not very interesting, but we enjoyed our stay there because it was som calm. There is just a short stroll to the many restaurants in Trastevere which we like a lot. The room was quite big and it was clean. The brakfast was ok.
Great rooms, friendly staff, walking distance to Trastevere area.
Hotel excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Very classy and modern hotel, well worth spending the money. Next time will stay longer and will recommend to friends for sure!
Staff could not be more helpful. Very convenient hotel for local transport around Rome.
