A four stars Hotel with a very nice location along the River, in one of the most exclusive areas of Florence. The beautiful Church of S. Croce, the Bargello Museum, the Uffizi, and Ponte Vecchio are just in a short walking distance. Almost all our rooms have a splendid panoramic view over the river, the church of S. Croce, or the rooftops, spacing to the famous hills that surrounds our town.

Getting there:BY TRAIN: From the train station you can get a taxi that will bring you to the Hotel in 5 minutes. Cost is about 8 Euro. BY CAR: EXIT THE A1 HIGHWAY AT "FIRENZE NORD". Follow the directions toward CENTRO". You will reach the boulevard ring. Follow the boulevard in the following direction: VIALE FRATELLI ROSSELLI, VIALE FILIPPO STROZZI near the Fortress, then VIALE SPARTACO LAVAGNINI. Straight ahead toward PIAZZA BECCARIA. After the square hold your right. When you reach the river turn right along LUNGARNO DELLA ZECCA VECCHIA. After 200 meters you will find the Hotel Ritz. FROM THE FLR AIRPORT We suggest you to get a taxi that in 15-20 minutes will bring you to our hotel. Cost is approx. 17 Euro.

Car parking:AGREEMENT WITH GARAGE / VALET SERVICE INCLUDED. We have an agreement with a garage that can pick up and deliver the car from the door of our Hotel. Valet service is included for arrival and departure. PARKING In our street you can park the car in the places marked by a blue line. Please pay at the parking meter. Please ask about this matter at the reception.
Child Policy:Children under 2 years old that sleep in the parents bed are free. Children cot extra charge 20 euro per night.
Charming, little but not true to lable. Two star hotel on river and thoughly enjoyed our stay!
This is a well located hotel, near Negroni bar and the river, clean and well sized room. Well and honest hotel staffs, but sometimes the facility for the restaurant (for breakfast menu) is quite limited. Other than this, hotel is pretty good.

The Ritz Hotel is located on the road running along the river so be some traffic noise filters through. The hotel is a little way away from the major tourist attractions, but is still within walking distance from everything - if you don't mind getting outside and doing a bit of walking. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel offers free internet use for guests. Whilst the hotel is a little tired, the decor was fine, everything works, the rooms were clean and there was with virtually no noise from the guests. There was only English language TV channel we could get so those who expect access to greater variety in their TV viewing may be disappointed.
It was a good hotel by all means.Breakfast was ok.Location is quite good.
I wouldn't class this as a 4* hotel, think good 3* and you won't be disappointed! my boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay here, clean comfortable, beautiful views and effective aircon. breakfast was more than adquate and it has to be said that you couldn't hope for a better location, definitely would go here again.
Staff most helpful. Location fabulous. Rooms somewhat worn with cracked tiles in bath areas in both of our rooms. But - for the price and location, it is a great place.
I would definitely stay here again. The staff were excellent. We were made to feel very welcome and coffee/tea/beer was very reasonable with a better than expected breakfast too.
Great located hotel. Lovely views of the Arno. We had a large spacious room overlooking the Arno. Dining room a bit cramped. 510 minut walk to the Uffizi. Reception desk very helpful .

It's a nice, small hotel, with polite staff. The furniture is not new.,but the size of the room is enaugh. The airco was good and noiseless. The breakfast room is not too large, and the buffet is not too wide. We have stayed 3 very good days here.

Not a 4 star hotel (3 maximum). Rooms with a wiev to Arno river are great but too lousy in mornings. And wouldn`t book it for full price, only when offers available.
Water pumps created constant noise bacground on 5th floor. Shower is poorly equipped and a very poor retrofit into an old bath room that did not have a shower originally. I do not consider this to be a 3 star hotel.

It was not as nice as I expected, but I discovered that hotels in Italy are very expensive by Australian standards for the cost.
