"Best location, taking advantage of the beauty of Madrid, with the tranquility of El Retiro next door and the culture of El Prado, Reina Sofia & Thyssen . Rooms are very traditional, not spanking modern (carpets worn), but nothing is missing and very clean. Excellent service, linen changed 2x/daily, beautiful breakfast on terrace. Health club unattended on weekends. Request outside rooms, or the corner suites (round salons) with connecting bedrooms, if possible. Reception is wonderful. Quiet and subdued.
