"Difficult to judge the facilities and service level from only 1 night, but everything that I used/experienced met my expectations for a hotel of this class. Although the area has many 4 & 5 star hotels, the location, for me, is not ideal, and room price was just OK but overall it met my expectations from the information provided on [Website]." - Kevin Harris

"I didn't much care for the pattern in the carpet, it reminded me of my sitting room when I was young in the nineteen-sixties. They should have checked with me first before installing it. Also I stepped in a dog poo near the Marina on the way to the Formula One, and when I returned the hotel denied all responsibility. Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"?" - Anonymous

"This hotel has been extensively renovated since I last stayed and is vastly improved. Room was clean and airy and service was good. Dinner buffet very good value (for Singapore). The only thing you need to watch is that they "accidentally" charged the full rate including the website deposit until I pointed it out (they did, however, immediately deduct it from the bill). It's a great location to walk down to the nightlife on Clarke Quay, 10 minutes along the river bank." - David Cook
