The Riverlodge is a Boutique Queenslander style building with comfortable motel style units. The accommodation at the Riverlodge Tropcial Motel, is spacious, well appointed and all rooms have ensuites and air-conditioning. All the rooms at the Riverlodge Tropical Motel open out to verandas with tropical outlooks. All rooms have new flat screen televisions, some have LCD televisions, DVD players and lovely timber hotel style desks. You can have a continental brekkie or use the dining room to supply your own. HIGH SPEED WIRELESS BROADBAND is available from all of the rooms at the Riverlodge Tropcial Motel. There is also a guest computer available in dining room. The Riverlodge Tropical Motel is only a short one minute drive from the Innisfail CBD and restaurants.

If driving from the North from Cairns, drive through Innisfail heading South, go past Macdonalds eatery, through the roundabout, over Bamboo creek, go past the Barrier Reef Motel on your left and past the Riverdrive Van park on your right. DON'T TAKE THE BIG TOWNSVILLE TURNOFF, but drive straight ahead along River Avenue, following the sign that says to South Johnstone, drive along River Avenue for about 750metres, as soon as you go under the overpass look to the right and you'll see a big timber Queenslander building, that's the historic Riverlodge.
If you are driving from Townsville go over the Centenary bridge, if you look down to the left hand side you'll see the Riverlodge, go around the big sweeping bend. When you approach the T-Intersection TURN RIGHT, FOLLOW THE SIGN TO SOUTH JOHNSTONE and Paronella Park. Drive along River Avenue for 750 metres following the Kairi Pine trees, just as you under the overpass we are on the Right hand side. |

Plenty of safe completely off street parking as the Riverlodge is on one acre of land. There is undercover parking. Back street access and parking for large vehicles, trucks, trailers etc with easy access and exit. There are areas where trailers, campers can be secured so you can even detach your trailer/boat, secure it and go off sight seeing our beautiful attractions hassle free. |

The Riverlodge is child friendly, there is a family style room, but we do ask parents to supervise their children closely, especially on the upstairs verandas, as to promote quiet enjoyment for all other guests and to stay with children at all times in and around the pool. |
