Riverside Hotel Southbank Brisbane

Located very conveniently to QPAC and the exhibition and convention centre. Check-in is generally quite slow, but staff are friendly and hlepful.

Pricing and location get an A+++

We think that the location of the hotel is perfect for theatre and museum, etc. For the price you could not beat it. All the staff were wonderful, the person at the deck, that man who guided us for parking, the 2 young men in the dining room. The room was fine and very clean. We wanted to stay for 2 nights this weekend, but your place was all booked up. But we shall not forget this hotel.

Good place to stay very friendly staff within easy walk to city, room quite spacious and very clean. Free parking was fantastic. I had a 2 day conference in the city and was able to leave my car there even before I had checked in and when I check out I was still able to leave my car there until the conference had finished at 5pm. Iwould definately stay there again

This hotel is in an ideal location, within walking distance to the city, surrounded by restaurants and cafes and close to transport. The breakfast buffet is adequate and the staff are friendly and helpful. Will happily recommend this hotel and will be staying here again.

Not exactly by the riverside as was expecting, though 15 mins walk to Southbank or CBD. Good dinning facilities at hotel. Internet expensive.

Was a good reasnobly cheap room for a short stay that was close to the city, easy parking & food available. Some meals were a bit exspensive, but local cafe's are close

Very good for a night's stay. Breakfast pricey for an average meal. Handy to city but one should check about walking around the area at night. Daytime should be fine and in an interesting area.

Good choice. Nice and comfy hotel. Pleasant and clean. Would not hesitate to stay here again when back in Brisbane.

Staff were polite and friendly but level of service was a little inconsistent. The room was excellent, but location being right next to a bridge meant there was some unavoidable traffic noise. It was only a few minutes walk to South Bank, Queen St Mall and the South Brisbane train station. I enjoyed my stay.

OK but the location is fairly ordinary. Nothing within walking distance.

I was a little worried once we eventually found the hotel as its almost directly under the William Jolly Bridge but I was very very pleasantly surprised. The foyer & adjoining coffee shop were very clean & modern, plenty of free secure parking downstairs & the rooms were absolutely beautifully decorated & immaculately clean. We could see the bridge from our balcony but once the doors were shut you couldnt hear a peep. The bathroom is a little on the smaller size but the room itself was quite spacious and beautiful. The building itself is about a 2 minute walk from the start of the pedestrian bridge to walk over in to the city centre which takes about 12 minutes to walk over and its easy. It is also walking distance to the Southbank precinct and the entertainment complex. The museum/conservatorium is directly across the road. Overall I would consider this a premium establishment, extremely good value for money, very comfortable and convenient and I would highly recommend it

Hotel in industrial area. Clean with good sized rooms, comfortable bed. Bathroom was good. Recommend to any body who needs to be near the city. Restrauntes food was excellent

Worked well as a place to stay. Close to the Brisbane South Bank Art Galleries etc; close to the South Brisbane Railway Station. An easy walk across the river to "downtown".

A good value hotel. Unfortunately the restaurant is not open on public holidays with a 15 min walk to Southbank restaurants. Approx 20-30 min walk into the city across the river also. The rooms were nicely refurbished and very clean and free parking was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpfull at all times. We were visiting on business from Perth WA May 2010.

Couldn't get into room until well after 2pm as we were told they were still cleaning that floor. Then at 7.30am in morning woken by house cleaning actually opening our door - not impressed!
