"We had no problems with this hotel and felt that we got what we paid for. The hotel was very affordable and in a great location (a quiet, residential neighborhood in the Upper West Side just a few blocks from the subway and Central Park). The rooms were small and bare, but were relatively clean and included a small fridge and sink. The staff at the desk were helpful and even let us look at the room before deciding whether or not we wanted to check in. While we're not sure we would necessarily stay there again, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel based on some other very negative reviews we read before we left. " - Sarah Pohle
"The place is pretty good for a night or two. Don't expect too much, it's a place to sleep for a cheap price. Old building needs a lot of work, but everything worked, no bugs, and bathrooms were clean. Nice part of the city to stay in, free on-street parking in the area, or a reasonable parking garage just around the block. The "Large" size room with 2 double beds was a comfortable size. Nothing fancy about the place. I would recommend if you are looking for a cheap safe place. " - Eric Beach
"I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. I saw cockroaches more than once. It’s extremely dirty. In their defence, it's honest to say that the staff is more than kind and helpful. If you can afford it, please do stay anywhere else." - Anonymous
"Phone in room did not work, which meant we had to travel down 4 flights to use a public phone.
Room was very clean everyday, clean towels provided etc.
Location not too bad
and front desk helpful when needed." - Anonymous
