It is located close to old city and casino hotel area. many of the room is ocean view! from my room was able to see Macau tower! I can recommend this hotel to you all!
I am surprise that mineral water are chargeable! At this price and in Macau, there are no complementary water is not really acceptable. I will rather choose Holiday Inn Macau, more strategic location and better worth to money.

Go for an ocean view room, the view over the bay to Macau Tower is lovely especially at night. The location is great walking distance to the historic quarter. The room was OK, it was quiet, bed was comfy, bathroom nice, no casino, great value for the money paid.
Free Shuttle Bus from Hotel to Ferry Terminal and vice versa.
I liked the serene environment and seaview facing and not far from the city. We enjoyed our stay there. Nice room and service level is good.
I liked the location as it is in a quite area near the sea.
we up-graded to a suite when we arrived, which was big and had plenty of room, we ate in the restrautant, the food was good but the service was not so good, breakfast was OK.
The breakfast was not included in the package. With the price that we pay breakfast must be included. In fact similar hotel category offer lowert price with free buffet breakfast. The bus service to ferry is commendable but you must also have airport bus servce like other hotel
hotel is nice.
Quiet location and good shuttle service; public transport also available. Staff friendly and accomodating, specially KEVIN, the assistant manager. Will recommend to friends and consider for future trips - but only the NEW wing. The old wing should be closed!
Some confusion on the name. Sign says "Riviera", items within say "Ritz". Situated in a quiet, classy residential area, easy 30 mins walk to downtown, 15 mins to Macau Tower. At $80HK the tiny crazy gold course is extortionate. There's an indoor pool (free) & tennis court (charge). Chinese restaurant is spacious, quiet with good "dim sum" but not cheap. We booked a "garden view room", but it faced a concrete wall. Upgraded ($100HK) to a "sea view room" with balcony and spectacular view across Nam Van Lake to Macau Tower. Complementary minibus is convenient in view of difficulty catching taxis. Nearest outside restaurant is Henrys Galley, Macanese/Portuguese food - recommended.
The shuttle bus service is very bad and inconvenient , small van with limited capacity and muct wait for every 1/2 hour for the next schedule even though it is full. There should be at least 2 buses per trip to and from ferry terminal.
The room we were allocated in the Ritz was in the very old part of the building which was quite shabby. While the bedding was clean, the carpet throughout this wing was old and dirty. Overall however, it was Ok for the price (about $aud 99 per night). It was a way out of town which meant taxis. The restaurant was very good.
I didn't use any facilities but it seemed to lack a Western-style coffee shop. I could be wrong, however. Overall, very good value for the money.
I had a rather nice stay at Hotel Ritz; it is located in the more quiet area of Macau with a convenient shuttle bus to the center. The hotel is somewhat old and I wouldn't call it a Five Star hotel, as is stated; rather Three Stars, but a nice stay all in all.
