The Riviera Hotel Seoul is situated south of the Han River and guests can feel a unique sentiment of it. Stayed for two weeks with my wife and 4 kids. Nice hotel. Very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bed is a bit firm, but I think that is a Korean thing. Shower was great with good pressure and hot water. Airport bus #6010 drops off and picks up right in front of the hotel. Cost is 15,000 won (about $15 US). Taxis were always available in front of the hotel. Cost to take one to COEX is about 2,500 won for the 3-5 minute ride. It seemed to me the hotels at the COEX were alot more expensive. There are little convenience stores nearby as well as a number of restaraunts in the area. You have to be 13 years old to use the gym/pool. Subway is a bit of a walk, but that is what you do in Seoul, or you can just take taxis - the drivers all seem to know the hotel, and if not they all have GPS in their taxis now. All in all we had a good stay and would definately consider staying at this hotel again.

Very good hotel for business, location is away from city center, but walkable to/from metro station.
Generally okay, centrally located however short of basic facilities nearby such as coffee shops, bakeries, convienience stores etc. Broadband internet was not working as smoothly as other hotels in Seoul, with a screen asking for confirmation everytime ones logs even within the 24hr period. Connection speed slow for broadband. The room i stayed was comfortable, overlooking the river, however no coffee/tea facilites were provided. The bed and pillows were adequate only, below my expectation for rating this hotel gives itself. Pillows also were too soft for my liking. The airconditioning unit seemed somewhat noisy, switching on and off frequently, which can be a little anoying. The 606 Airport bus is available for those who want to save on a taxi fare, stopping directly outside the front of the hotel. The stop for the return trip is located across the main road, around a 400m walk from the hotel. Pleasant, however i would consider other hotels for the price.
