The hotel is ok. Most employees speak english. The situation of the hotel is ok. For the price the rooms could be more comfortable. Yet, everything needed is there: minibar, big bed, free water etc.
This was my swond stay at Reviera Hotel. I chose the hotel as it was just across the road from the Interntional Flora Expo. The staff is very helpful and I found the location quite convenient to food outlets. Taxis are easily available to any where in Taipei. Yes it is ahotel I would recommedn to vistors to Taipei.
Was a nice quiet hotel. I have no complaints, would stay there again. Is quite close to some of the sites..the Confucius Temple, Bao An Temple, Lin An Tai Home Stead, Tea Story House, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Longshan Temple. The Yuanshan MRT is about a 7-10 minute walk from the station and there is also an all English bookstore close by. The Shilin Night Market is one or two stops away (depending on where you start and end) and Taipei Main Station is about 4 stops. Location-wise, it's good. Staff are helpful. I'd stay there again.
The Reviera is located in an area easily accessible to shops and eateries. Taxis are easily available to go to any destination. From November 2010 till June 2011 the International Floral Exhibition will be held in a park just opposite the Reviera Hotel so it would be very convenient for anyone interested in attending the Floral Exhibition. The Hotel is about 50 mionutes from the Airport. I would highly recommend this hotel to visitors to Taipei.
This was my 2nd time with Riveria and was really disappointing. It's supposed to be a non smoking floor and when we went into the room, it was full of smoke smell, even the towel does have the smell. At the same time, we have asked the Service Staff to help us make a reservation at a restaurant, the staff agreed readily. But when we reached the restaurant, no reservation was made, how embarrassing can it be. Hope the hotel can improve on its service.
The staff were very courteous and helpful. Te rooms were very comfortable and spacious. I would stay there again and highly recommend the Rievera to anyone considering visiting Taipei.
A very nice hotel with good facilities. The staff are very friendly and courteous.
Splendid hotel, spacy room and friendly staff. We'll recomand this hotel to our friends and family.
This proves to be one of the VERY BEST business hotels in Taipei -- convenient location (near Nanjing Road); big room (a spacious bedroom plus a sizable office with a large desk and chairs); Free and user-friendly internet service; 3:00 PM check-out; easy online booking with competitive rates. Last but not least, top-level cleanliness, which exceeds my expectations. Strongly recommended to all business as well as pleasure travelers.
Furniture is too old to be called a four star hotel
Very good and comfortable hotel with nice breakfast and fancy interior design.
The hotel is very nice. The room is well-designed and rather big plus have a sitting-room. The breakfast is excellent with a great choice of everything. Free Internet-cafe is also appreciated. Several 'Seven-Eleven' stores are nearby, a night market is 7 min walk from the hotel, MRT Yuanshan station is 10 min walk.
small and calm boutique hotel where the service is efficient like the room service, concierge). In this hotel, free internet access that is the plus.
Located on the northern edge of the city by the former U.S. Army base (now a city park w/ art museums) so it is convenient for going to the National Palace Museum and getting on the expressway into the central districts. I was given a two-room suite (office & bedroom). Quite comfortable. Buffet breakfast was good. Free internet service was a nice plus. Neighborhood has late-night simple places to eat and hostess bars. Subway is a about a 13-minute walk.
good service ,good location ,price is right .i will highly recommend this hotel.
Great hotel for the price. Rooms, amenities, service were all comparable to higher end hotels such as Landis or Evergreen. One complaint is that the hotel is located in the northeast side of town, away from shopping, nightlife, even a MRT station. Also, avoid the Combat Zone down the street, it is a sketchy place. However, given how little I paid I really don't have much to complain about. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.
the staff was very helpful. will stay there again.
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The menu in the hotel restaurant was a bit lacking, but that aside, I had a wonderful stay and if I find myself in Taipei again, I would not hesitate to stay in the Riviera.
the hotel staff went beyond their duty to help us out with a problem which occured during our stay. we have stayed in lots of hotels and we have never experienced such extraordinary service. we would not hesitate to recommand this hotel and wouldn't look anywhere else when we return to Taipei.
