Riviera Hotel Venice

It's amazing place for the young pairs as we are. Views from the upper floor to the night Venice are great. And if you are not so lucky to get the number with the view to the waters you can use the possibility of common balcony. The service is perfect. Morning breakfasts are varied and tasty. It's located on Lido - island that separated from the common part. But for us - it's a plus. It's only 15-20 min to the central Venice, but we'are getting quite and silence and beautiful sights instead the view of the neighbor building. Can recommend for all.

No airco and noisy, location is nice

We didn't realise when we booked that the Hotel was actually on an adjacent island. That said, it was on the end of the main Grand Canal ferry route, and only took about half an hour to get to, from the train station ferry point. The Hotel itself is only 2 minutes from the ferry drop off. One of the charms of Venice is the ferry rides anyway. Only a few problems, being: no room fridge (many European rooms seem not to have them); computer use again costly at 6Euros per hour. Their computer didn't seem to get Internet access. Same cost for own WIFI use. One really nice gesture was that Reception provided us with a special breakfast bag as we had to leave really early in the morning.

Its a very nice hotel in Lido island.Location was perfect when you get off the vapporette all you need to do cross the road and thats it.Hotel only 15 minutes far away from the San Marco.we have got very nice seaview.Staff was very helpfull and i can say trustfull as well.Breakfast was wonderful.If i go venice in the future definetly ill stay Riviera hotel again.

A nice enough hotel. The single rooms are *very* small but clean and well appointed. Directly opposite the Lido Waterbus stop, so a perfect place to stay if you want to avoid the crowds of the main island. The breakfast is nothing special, but fills you up, which is all you really need. My only complaint: In this day an age, how can they justify charging £6 an hour for wi-fi?

The hotel was in a good location and very close to the public transport. The staff was friendly and hotel is recommended

We had a triple room, sizewise it was fine, the only problem we had was noise from the bar accross the road. First impressions were that the hotel was frilly, and dated but on reflection it had loads of character. Location is excelent just accross the road from the boat stop which is a 10 minute ride from St Marks. I would reccomend the hotel, having stayed on Venice before I was dissapointed when we couldn't get accomodation there again. However, the Riviera Hotel and the Lido area was a pleasant surprise and although I have moaned about the bar accross the road I did spend quite a lot of time in there.
