Getting there:From Airport turn right on Sir Donald Bradman Drive, follow into Adelaide, and turn left on West Terrace and then right into Hindley Street. The hotel is located on the corner of Morphett and Hindley streets. It is a short taxi ride if arriving by train (Keswick Terminal) or bus (Franklin Street Terminal).
Check-in Procedure:Guests will be required to produce the Credit Card they have used to pay for their accommodation; if this is not possible then a $200 cash bond will be required for Superior & Club Rooms and a $300 bond for Executive & Apartments.

Great hotel, very nice rooms and breakfast is very good. If you go in summer the pool on the roof is lovely. The only downside is the noisey club across the road if you are trying to sleep. Otherwise very good value for money and fantastic standard.

Great room, big TV, helpful staff. House keeping was a little strange - taking barely used shampoo and not replacing but leaving extra soap. Same for coffee but leaving extra milk?? Over all very good.
tWe were very happy with the service at this Hotel. We had drinks in the bar and enjoyed a meal also. we found it a very convenient spot and c lose to the Rundle Mall. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Staf were friendly and obliging.Although close enough to walk to the main shopping mall,it is located in a seedy part of town and surrounded by night clubs with loud music and crowds which could be heard through to 5.00am.This would stop me staying there again.

It was excellent that there was double glazing to cut down street noise, but unfortunate that we could not open any windows to get fresh air.
King Suite was great value at $200 night,massive room with spa and very large bathroom.Mini bar prices over the top,but i think they all are.Great location,i would highly recommend this hotel.
I had a wonderful night at the Rockford, especially the waiting staff at Market Spice were fantastic. I recommend staying in a deluxe king superior suite to anyone wanting a bit of luxury.

Room clean, furnishing quite modern. Low ceiling and basic building quite 1980's feel but pleasant enough. Not really 4.5 stars.

I stayed in the Rockford hotel for one night. When i booked in i had a load of bags with me and received no help whats so ever carring them to my room, i found the day staff very unhelpful but the night staff were excellent.
Cannot fault this hotel. The room was excellent, the restaurant was also good. The staff were obliging and helpful in every way and it was a pleasure to stay there.
Extra large rooms with good size flat screen TV, great breakfast, good location and value for mooney
While the rooms are being renovated the cigarette smoke still lingers. Another problem is its location and in particular,the noise factor from the entertainment facilities across the road rates this hotel less than a 4 star. If you were to ask me if I were to saty in this hotel again the likelihood is no.
Although there are several nightclubs situated closeby, I had no problems once in my room. Bed very comfortable & bathroom was excellent. Staff very helpful & pleasant. Hotel very close to mall, bus stops & good eating areas.
Close to the middle of town, surrounded by clubs but very quiet in the hotel. good facilities, would definately stay again
The Rockford Hotel is a modern comfortable place to stay in. The room we had was very spacious and comfortable and a above all clean. The bed was a dream. The bar and restaurant are very reasonable with their prices. Bar snacks were also excellent. Staff were more than helpfull, even when we came back after a 4 day tour, they still stored our luggage and were helpful in making an Airport transfer booking for us. Would go their again.
Noisy location across the road from a pub and next to busy main road. As well as woken at 0500hrs by dump bins being removed and replaced. Bathroom door came off its hinge. Cistern would not flush. Reception 'omitted' to book transport to airport. Front desk staff however did apologise.
