Rockhampton Plaza Hotel

Comfortable enough for a short stay, staff were quite pleasant and helpful. Will stay there again if I am going to Rockhampton.

some years ago was very noisy but since double glazing of windows noisy semi trailers now not a problem.

The Rockhampton Plaza is in need of a re-furb. However, it is convenient, clean, and the staff and services are excellent.

On arrival did not feel really welcomed however service was good. (1) Elevator was not working Breakfast was not available for the Sunday morning I felt hungry the first day rang for room service as it stated in the hotel folder and there was none available - I thought being that being a 4star / 5star hotel they could have arranged something.

I didn't like not being able to open the windows to get a breeze. Surely security screens would have been better than blocking off the windows.

The night staff and daytime staff during our stay were fantastic. Your company should be very proud to have such lovely girls working for you. If ever I am down your way again, I would definitely stay there and recommend to others also.

One of the best hotels in Rocky you can get considering the limited variety in this town. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious with pleasant views of the park across the road that has many semi trailors passing by of which I found to be the only let down. I spend alot of time in hotels as I work for an airline hence why I value a quiet room. other than that I would suggest this hotel for anyone passing through rocky.

Slightly aged but clean & in reasonable condition. Central location but some noise from adjacent highway. Good, reasonably priced meals at attached restaurant. Geanerally good value for money.

From where I stayed on (top floor) there was a constant and annoying loud hum, which I assume was casued by the cooling towers. No matter how many pillows I put over my head I could not mitigate the sound.

I found the staff to be very friendly, the food from the restaraunt was fresh & well prepared. The hotel is a short walk from center of town but within a 5 minutes walk from several inexpensive eateries.

Great spot, right near the airport and main shops. Very well priced for what's on offer.

The location was on main road and acoustic windows are not provided.The evaporative air cooling is very loud in rooms.Staff service varied from superb at check-in to 'just interested' at dinner to 'joyous at breakfast.Probably great value at $90 /nite but a bit tired in overall condition to justify $110/nite.

The hotel was well located on the way to the airport which was handy for us as we are not overly familer with Rockhampton. It was very hot and the airconditioning didn't work very well as such it was very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. The room service was very good and prompt.
