Getting there:4.5 hour drive from Auckland and Wellington in the centre of the North Island, Ohakune is centrally situated. Rocky Moutain Chalets is located close to town (just past the BIG carrot) and a short walk will lead you from your chalet to cafes, restaurants and shopping in the main street of Ohakune.

Car parking:All chalets feature a covered carport for one vehicle. In addition there is ample off street parking for extra vehicles.
Child Policy:All children using resort bedding are considered adult rates. Please note that Rocky Mountain Chalets do not provide cots
Very comfortable place to stay, definitely exceeded expectations, would love to be back.
Even if our planned skiing-trip got cancelled due to high winds, we had a fab week thanks to the comfort of our chalet.
