It's the perfect location if you need to be close to the airport.
Not right in the center but direct access with subway or by the numerous taxis in Lisbon. Standard rooms of large "International hotel". Wifi access included. There is a pool, a jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, and a fitness room but the access is too limited and not free. The price of these services are a bit expensive. Standard breakfast. I am recommending this hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness excellent. Value for price. Ideal for an overnight stop.
Comfortable and good value. Easy access to city via metro, albeit little of interest within walking distance. Well positioned for airport. Clean hotel with good service provided. Breakfast a little mundane with no daily variation, but all food well prepared and eat as much as you wish. The coffee from machine tastes really bad but easily overcome by alternatively drinking tea or fruit juice. Good hotel if price is competitive. Would probably compare with hotels off Ave. de Liberdade for location as better alternative.
One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because I had stayed there previously for pleasure and thought it was a good hotel. We were there on business this time and very disappointed that they advertised WIFI access which was always unavailable and unable to connect. The WIFI issue was such a problem we asked the IT manager to look into it, and although very helpful, he did not seem to understand the problem and failed to respond any of our further enquiries. We spent our entire 5 days there having to leave the hotel every morning early to go to a reliable WIFI hotspot nearby - where incidentally we had no problems connecting. I say if you don't have the service, don't advertise it.
Sometimes a bit crowded due to numerous groups staying at that hotel. The staff at the reception has some difficulty to cope with this. Breakfast only average.
Great service for myself, my wife and two kids (9),(6). I stayed for 3 nights. On the last day I was to run in the Lisbon half marathon race. The race started at 10:30am and check out is at 11:00am, The night before the race I just told the reseptionest that I could not finish the race no eariler than 12:30pm, can I check out at 1:30pm? I explained that I need a little time to shower and change. They said no problem and good luck in the race. The whole stay at this hotel from the start was exellent, morning buffett was great, but the icing on the cake was that last day for me. As I came back from the run they saw me come in my running outfit and said no problem again as to telling me to not to rush. At 1:40pm I droped off the room keys and the clerk said thank you have a great day.
The hotel was very good for the price we paid.
An excellent hotel for reasonable price and perfect location, with professional English-speaking staff.
Actually closer to the centre than you would imagine from a first look - it's three or four minutes walk north to the Metro at Roma then only 8 minutes down the line to Rossio/Baixa. Hotel looks a bit shabby from the outside but it's OK once inside. Room had no minibar - so make sure you have a drink and snack to hand if you're arriving late - although food is available in the hotel bar until 1am. Didn't manage to see or use the pool/gym as it's open from 2pm - which is an odd time to open as most people will be out sightseeing in the afternoons. Overall it was pretty good and any misgivings were outweighed by the reasonable pricing.
A very nice hotel in Central Lisbon.
reception desk person who I came into contact with was a little off hand and appreared to be disinterested. Other than that all good !!!!!!
Travel Lodge standard of accomodation, good enough for me. Not bang on city centres, but taxis are cheap anyway. Near Airport.
Easy access to everything downtown through the easy to use public transport network. Also close to the airport. Very good location.
An easy two block walk to the metro. Helpful staff. Tiny elevators - even for Europe.
Provided easy Metro access to the tourist attractions. Beware of Taxi drivers from airport! Three couples traveling from the airport to the hotel on the same day were charged three different prices: from $4 to $32 Euro including "baggage handling" charges.
