Romance Hotel Istanbul

everybody was very nice

The staff were extremely helpful and always greeted you with a smile and enquired about your plans or day out, etc. The breakfast had plenty of variety for all tastes. Location, location, location so much to see within walking distance and the tram stop is just around the corner or a 5 min walk down to the train station. Rooms are small but adequate, typical European size. We would stay there again.

The Romance Hotel is definately NOT a budget hotel but a very comfortable and extremely well positioned place of accommodation. The twin room was average size but adequate with plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom was very large and very modern so no complaints there. The breakfast included was first class and e qual to anything we had throughout Europe and the Emerates. The staff were only too happy to help and spoke perfect English. The train stop is at the front so this was cost efficient and convenient and very easy to use. I would definately stay here again and would recomment to others travelling to Istanbul

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, which helped to make the stay very enjoyable. This hotel is part of a chain which benefits from having another hotel just next door, and facilities can be used in both buildings. Great stay in a very convenient location for all the masin attractions; Blue Mosque, Grand Bazzar, Spice Bazzar etc.

This hotel was recommended to us by a friend who stayed there about 12 months ago. Room very small, but we were warned by our fried. Breakfast on offer was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was central to most tourist spots. In room tea and coffee making facilities would have been good to have. Numerous well priced restaurants nearby. Overall would be happy to stay there again.

Perfect location close to most interesting places in old city. Nice and helpful staff. Wifi for free but works slowly. Aircond noicy but OK for a reasonable price. Will return if coming back to istanbul.

Great place to stay - so convenient for the Gulhane tram stop - which makes the trip from the airport easy and cheap. The location was exactly right for the main interests for us as tourists. The staff were very friendly - and they insisted on giving a simple meal in the bedroom when one of us was taken ill - and then refused any kind of payment for their kindness! The breakfast fueled us for the days - the rooms were adequate, not too noisy and were serviced very well. A truly wonderful city to visit - enhanced by the hotel we stayed in.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location in old town Istanbul for seeing the sites. Will definately stay there again on my next trip to Istanbul.

The location of this hotel is good as it is closed to the tram station and the tourist place. Also considered of the price that is in the medium range. It is recommended to book the room from internet as the walk-in room price is about 30% higher.

A really nice hotel in a great area of Istambul - by the Haiga Sofia and Blue Mosque - right near a Tram stop - within walking distance to Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, Galata Tower. Very nice place, wonderfully helpful staff who spoke English and very nice breakfast included. Why this hotel isn't listed in Travel Books is a mystery to me.

The hotel is in a fantastic location and is good value for money.

This is the perfect location in the Old City to stay. You can walk to everything, lots of fantastic places to eat & shop, but most of all, the roof-top terrace was amazing! Grab a drink at the hotel bar and head upstairs to the roof-top terrace to enjoy a relaxing moment...head over to the side of the roof for an amazing view of the Bosphorus! We would stay here again in a heart beat!!

This is a really good hotel in a great location.

If you are looking for a centrally located hotel at a decent price, this is the place to stay in Istanbul. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in the price and it is more than adequate to fill you up. The rooms are somewhat small but clean and comfortable.

The staff are very helpful at this hotel and the location is great. The breakfast buffet is also quite good.
