I was travelling on my own, but had booked the twin room. Lovely light airy room. Shared bathroom/toilet, so I really appreciated having own handbasin in room. 5 minute walk to the thermal pools. Rosie gave great recommendations on the local attractions and restuarants. Recommend Rosie's to anyone looking for value, convenience and shared company.
We just stayed one night in a double without bathroom, but it had a sink in the room and was quiet and comfortable. Lots of insects around the house. The woman who runs it is great, very friendly and she provided a decent breakfast (cereal, toast, coffee, juice, cheese etc) the following morning. The location is pretty unbeatable, the Springs are at the end of the road
Warm, homely, friendly yet professional. Suited us perfectly.
There are different rooms in this place. Some of them are very nice. I, by mistake ordered twin room for us as a couple, I didn't know that meant two beds one above another. We called Rosie on our way to the place, because it was very late and we knew we are going to arrive late at night. She was very kind and told us she will leave a light for us and even left a message for us when we arrived. The house is the old one, and it had a strange smell (Of bathroom I think), however the room was very clean and the linen too. We even had small place to wash hands in our room. In the morning we had a very nice breakfast Rosie provided us even with special strawberries from her garden. She was very kind and suggested us places to visit. My advice, if you are a couple, please check what you are ordering (not a twin room).
Friendly host and great location.
Husband and I were given a room with 2 single beds - both had to sleep on one bed which was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Definitely suggest that you sleep one person per single bed. The owner was VERY friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely FANTASTIC. Short walk across the street (pretty much) to get to the Thermal Springs. Breakfast was provided - nice. Heating only worked for 45mins and then turned off. That was quite annoying!
Wonderful place to stay, great locality. Only fault was the lack of water pressure in the ground floor shower.
Our stay at Rosies was great. Very friendly and welcoming. Perhaps not suited to a romantic getaway as privacy is limited but great location, near hot pools and other Hanmer hot spots.
Would definitely recommend to friends! :)
A very pleasant stay enhanced by Rosies warm welcome. To be recommended.
Very cosy and comfy thanks Rosie!
Great place, good value for money. Rosie is a wonderful host!
Rosie made us most welcome. It was very cold when we were there, and our room took a while to heat up, but we were cosy once the heater did its work. The "love nest" is in fact a sleep out with its own bathroom, and the louvre window in the bathroom meant that it was always cold in there. It was great being so close to everything.
Rosie is very friendly, helpful & a pleasure to deal with. She always goes out of her way to help you with the little things.
sean and hannah found the owners of rosie`s to be very helpful and very friendly. they enjoyed their stay. thanks rosie
The owner was very helpful and kind. The location and price was great. I wish we could have stayed more days.
A stone's throw from the hot pools and the shops/restaurants. Very friendly host
The place was great. Clean , friendly and warm on a clod day. Rosie is a gracious hostess and well informed about what's on and around Hamner. Would heartily recommend.
