Getting there:Less than 2 hours drive north of Sydney. Take the Cessnock exit approx one hour from start of F3 follow signs to Cessnock, turn right into Vincent Street at the first set of traffic lights. At the end of Vincent Street turn left, then straight right into Allandale Road, travel until you see the Lovedale Road turn off on your right, take this (if you get to the Visitors Centre you have gone too far) approx 9 klms turn left into Camp Road, then left into Talga Road, we are 3klms along on your right.

lovely area, nice & quiet with only 8 units. welcomed with a bottle of wine, cheese & crackers. light breakfast was good too. highly recommended.
John and Christine were very welcoming and accommodating. We only stayed for one night but will stay again when visiting the Hunter Valley next time. I would recommend it to all my friends. The surrounding area was simply stunning.

Has good potential but has been allowed to run down and the unit badly needed a thorough cleaning. Overall was disapointed with the unit.
Great Place to go if your looking for a nice cheap accomodation. Facilities were ok and everything was clean and tidy. Location was a fair bit away from most of the vineyards and a bit of travel from Cessnock. We managed to get the room at a discounted rate during the week and was great value for money. Maybe a bit pricey for the weekend at full rates.
We appreciated the complimentary wine and cheese. The room and bathroom were clean but the small courtyard outside was not swept, the table needed wiping and it was a bit "cobwebby" and dusty. This would lift the standard and appearance of what is a very well located property.

Only an overnight stay but the managers and locals made us feel welcome and comfortable. Ideal for a few couples to make their own fun in quiet surroundings. central to a number of wineries.

Was a great place for a quick and easy getaway. The view was excellent. Was impressed by the guests lounge area - it had a well-equipped kitchen, lots of tourist information, lovely fireplace and games to keep you entertained. When you get there, don't forget to have breakfast on your private verandah and have a picnic on the scenic lawn at your doorstep!
