Getting there:Situated 18 kilometres off-shore from the coastline of Perth Western, Rottnest Lodge is close to the shopping malls, marina and the Ferry Terminal. This property is just a kilometre from the city centre and 25 kilometres from Perth Train Station and the airport.

Stayed in standard room, overlooking the pool which was small but clean. The standard rooms do vary in size. The pool was out of action for 3 days of the 4 days we were there. Breakfast this time was a bit disappointing, never enough cereal, fruit etc. Also no leeway in choice of breakfast ie toast and scrambled egg, or toast and beans. You had to pay full price with no discount off your buffet breakfast which you had already paid for.....however, all staff pleasant and helpful and overall still a pleasant experience.

This is paradise, tranquil and you can make it whatever you would like it to be
I was pleasantly surprised, the rooms were basic but clean. Staff were all very friendly and happy to help. Continental breakfasts were tasty and well laid out. Location of the lodge very good for bus services, restaurants and location to all amenities. I must point out that I stayed in a standard room in Palm court. If you stayed in a quad room I think you would have been disappointed.
