By car
Pattaya is a pleasant 90-minute drive from Bangkok along the Bangkok Na-Trat Highway or Bangkok-Cholburi Motorway. The Royal Cliff Beach Resort is located on the headland at the southern end of Pattaya Bay.
Directions from Bangkok to Pattaya:
Take the Bangna-Trat Highway to Cholburi (Highway 34, then Highway 3).
Or take the Bangkok-Cholburi Motorway (Highway 7 onto Highway 3).
At the intersection after South Pattaya, turn right onto Thep Prasit Road.
Turn right at the end of Thep Prasit Road.
Follow the road to the top of the hill and turn left into Phra Tamnuk at the police booth.
Follow the Royal Cliff Beach Resort signpost all the way to the resort.
