Royal Hotel Macau

"The overall services and friendliness of the staffs are sound. They are keen on providing direction/advise to the major tourist attraction. (Especially worth noting is Rhandy of the concierge) But the only unsatisfactory part was the room arrangement as we have made our reservation one month earlier for a king bed and instead upon checking in we were ask to settle for a twin bed instead. Only after several minutes of debate with the staff where she eventually gave us the king bed room, which is absurd and contradict to her initial reason of no 'king bed' available. While waiting for our key card, she advised us that the room had no been clean which added on more frustration as it was near 7pm when we arrive. Eventually she settle us for a cleaned room and had to put us through all the above fusses, which showed lack of diligent and integrity" - Anonymous

"A good hotel with good spacious rooms,good service,good breakfast.The amenities include only a swimming pool and a small sauna,no steam bath available.10 minutes walk from Grand Lisboa.The drawback is the hotel not being present amidst the charm of macau i.e lights,casinos,night clubs,view of high rises from the room etc.City of dreams in Taipa is a great choiice where you can find rooms at almost the same price." - Aman Tekriwal

"The hotel room is spacious and very well maintained. The location is bad, not very convenient. However, the shuttle bus service is good and the driver brought me to MGM's doorstep on the way to the ferry terminal which is his usual route out of the hotel. Perhaps if they can provide additional shuttle bus service from the Zhuhai/Macau border to the hotel, it would be helpful." - Anonymous

"We had an incident with the installation of the DVD player, but aside from that, our stay was great. The hotel needs to check the DVD/VCDs being used as a preview to guest, after installing and checking whether the player works. The DVD was very disturbing. Front Desk: They look pretty stress but they managed to help us when help is needed. Bell: Very helpful. The hotel's very clean.
