Very nice, quaint hotel. Clean and hospitable.
this is a very friendly hotel and well run.I would recommend it to any one visiting the highlands of scotland
This was our first new year away from home and what an experience, one we will certainly be doing again!!!the hotel made this a new year to remember.Thank you.
We were allocated a smoking room and were not told this until we got to the room so had to return to reception and get a non smoking room. We were reallocated and the room had a great view of the harbour. It was on the 5th floor and was very hot and noisy so take ear plugs!
Recieved a bit of a frosty reception, however other than that it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay
The reception area in the hotel, as well as the dining area were fine, but our room was small and drab. The room was clean enough, although there was some dust around the tv, but it just appeared tired and in need of some new decoration. I realise all these things take money but the hotel was full by the looks of it so it's not like the money isn't coming in. It had been a couple of years since we stayed in Oban, unfortunately the whole place looks in need of a good clean up, which is a shame as it is a beautiful place. If things don't improve I can see a lot of people not promoting it as the lovely place it used to be and the visitors will go elsewhere.
Very friendly and helpful staff in all areas of the hotel. Room wasn't huge but was more than adequate. It was spotlessly clean with tea and coffee, toiletries, sewing kits etc. Self service buffet breakfast had a great selection of piping hot, well cooked food, it really set us up for the day. I would definately stay at this hotel again.
I liked the hotel especially since it could accomodate my border collie dog. Reception were very nice. Cracker the dog says woof!. She loved it next to the water. Many thanks again
Don't know much about UK prices but seemed good value for money. Very good haggis.
The single bedroom was very small. the ensuite was about half the size of the bedroom. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
