Handsome serviced apartments on Royal Mile. V good value for last minute rate. Do make use of the complimentary access to Escape in the nearby Scotsman hotel -excellent health club. Breakfast can be taken in the Southenr Cross cafe round corner. WOuld re-book.

The view and location are excellent!! However, the hotel changed the booked apartment without notice. I gave them notice that I need an apartment on the 1st floor and they said yes. But once we were there, the apartment for us was on the 3rd floor. Because I got emails to contact the hotel staff, they offered another room on the 1st floor for the elderly mother of my friend. However, none of the staff members know what happend to the change and was responsible for their mistake. The stone stairs access to apartments are not for the elderly people! I think they should give some notice about that! The location and facilities are very good but their services don't deserve 5 stars at all!

excellent venue situated right on the royal mile, two minutes walking distance from train station, service very efficient and friendly.

This apartment is in a really great location in Edinburgh. The front rooms looked over the Royal Mile and the bedroom at the back was quiet for sleeping. I was in apartment 11 - right at the top. I do not know what the other apartments are like - they might be noisier? The stone stairs to get to the room are steep and would totally not be suitable for anyone with disability problems. I really enjoyed my stay here - much more than in a hotel. Having access to the Escape Health Club was a good bonus - as i usually like to go to the gym/have a facial when away. The Escape gym, and Cowshed spa situated within, were both very good.

We stayed in a lovely 2 bed, self contained apartment which I would thoroughly recommend and stay in again. Brilliant location to all areas of the City. Really friendly and helpful staff, who sorted out a problem with our on-line booking very efficiently. Decorated to a high standard and modern in taste and a very comfy bed! Good to have well equiped kitchen and laundry. Main staircase is an old stone step spiral, maybe a hassle if take children or elderly persons. Certainly keeps you fit! The gym/pool is just around the corner, didn't get chance to check it out this time - but will on our return.

Although it was a cold & windy day, the inside heating was not enough to keep the room warm.

Just like the photos. Clean, tidy and centrally located. Tight staircase access. Good for longer stays, though only stayed a couple of nights. "Service" not high profile as it is an appartment, but good enough. Check in, just round the corner, very helpful. Would consider again at discount rate.

It was not what i was expecting it was far better would recommend staying there to all my friends , family etc perfect location , apartment was great

Very pleasant serviced apartments. Breakfast is served in a backpackers' cafe - you can just pay rather than book online. Entrance to apartment I rented was very dingy though tourists might find it atmospheric. Ideal central location -ask for rooms to back.Surprised this level of accomodation did not have internet or wifi.

Great apartment, well located, with everything you could need except a hairdryer! Very clean and would definitely recommend it and would stay there again without hesitation.

Great location- but be aware we climbed up 3 flights of narrow winding stairs to apartment which had fantastic views of Princess street. Relaxed in health club after busy weekend shopping and sight seeing- brilliant. Initially hard to find- you go to backpackers entrance to get keys, staff are very helpful. Need to bring own refreshments- no milk etc in apartment- but shops very close. Breakfast next door to backpackers- nice cafe.

First impressions not great, poor access and dimly lit staircase. Do not stay here if you have difficulty with stairs. Nice spacious apartment, well equipped, quite thin walls and only one bathroom/WC. A pleasant enough place to stay and the location may swing it for many. Car parking £9 for up to 24 hours (50% off).

These were really well furnished apartments - very high quality

Excellent place to stay-right on the royal mile about 300 yards away from the Edinburgh Castle. All the comforts of home-it never felt like I was staying in a hotel.
