"This is a comfortable well-appointed, if slightly dated, hotel, very close to city and across the road from the Botanic Gardens, good for walking. I have stayed there before, and would not hesitate to do so again, or to recommend it. One inconvenience was the interconnecting bedroom door which, though closed and locked,failed to muffle the sound of an inconsiderate neighbour's television at 2 am. However, the hotel responded immediately to my complaint. The breakfast food and service were great, especially the choice of fruit. Nice staff, too." - Ian Mackay
