Royal Plaza Hotel Hong Kong

Was initially worried about the hassle of having to keep changing MTR line (as hotel's located on the light blue line instead of the red line where Mongkok's located), but found out there's a sheltered overhead bridge that links the hotel to Mongkok area directly! How convenient! We booked the standard room but was pleasantly surprised when they upgraded us to deluxe room FOC! Room's really big (esp. given the norm of small-sized hotel room in HK) and basic anemities were all available, as expected for the amt we're paying (~US$200/night). Furniture's slightly worn and old though, but still functionable. Hubby visited the gym & swimming pool and was pretty impressed. Free shuttle bus service is available to/fro Kowloon Airport Express Station. Take the free shuttle bus service K5 from the bus terminal (near Exit B) located inside the Airport Express. Bus frequency is 20 mins (looping from 06:12am to 23:12pm). It proves to be really handy given the no. of luggage we're having! Overall, a pretty impressive hotel that's comfortable for couples and families, and relatively well-located. :)

It was one of the best hotels we stayed at. Good security and fast check in & out procedure. It was 1 min walk to Mong Kok East station which is almost at the heart of Kawloon. We walked (8 mins) to Monk Kok station instead which is very easy for tube connections and right by all the shopping districts. Rooms were very clean and big, unusual for Hong Kong hotels in general. The only complain I have is that the outdoor pool temperature was a little cold for swimming in November time, certainly too cold for my 4 year old daughter. Also the toilet in the room for some reason was making a lot of noise everytime someone flashed from the room above. The beds were heavily - goose down pillows and quilts, bed wasn't too soft so we slept like babies every night. Bless!

Booked this hotel as an extension to our tour trip in China and Hong Kong. The location is very good and convenient. Right above the Mong Kok East MTR station and connected to a very good shopping center. Also we can go to Mong Kok MTR station through footpath bridge. Excellent choices of buffet breakfast.

A great stay in Royal Plaza Hotel Hong Kong with my husband and my baby boy. The hotel provide baby cot for free. The room are big and comfortable. The staff are friendly.Hotel location is great. Near to MRT station. Can get lot of good food around the hotel. Will stay again in Royal Palza Hotel for my next visit.

Excellent location, close to all amenities. 5 min. walk from Mongkok East station and 10 min. walk from Prince MTR station. The hotel staff are efficient, helpful and friendly. I stayed on the 19th floor. It has one of the best power shower. I would definitely recommend it.

We stayed here for 6 nights and were amazed at the great service and the facilities of the hotel. Fantastic location. Fabulous facilities. Great staff and amazing experience. The health centre is a must for the stay with its exceptional facilities and professional staff. We would go as far as to say that if you want a good experience of Hong Kong - stay at this hotel and you will not regret it. We would stay here again and are going to book it again for sure. I enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The fitness and swimming pool facilities were very good. Wireless connection was also good although paying and could have been cheaper. I would come back with pleasure....

A good family suite room for 4 person in Mong Kok area. The family suite was good with microwave oven and induction stove. Location was good within a big shopping mall that has plenty of food and shopping. Below the hotel is the MTR (Mong Kok East). Room service was fast and prompt.

Good location. Easy access to MRT station, shopping area and eateries. Room is spacious.

We got free upgrade to a family room which is much bigger with a queen and single bed. Location is very good as the back door of the hotel leads directly to the under cover 8 storey shopping mall with very good dim sum at Jade Garden. 15 mins walking distance from s/mall to Mongkok computer Centre and Ladies market. Free shuttle service to Tsim Sha Tsui. Free airport shuttle bus stops at the front door from Kowloon train station. Check in and check out are quick. This is one of the best hotel in the world as we have travelled to many different countries. We will stay in this hotel again.

Arrived in hotel at 2.00pm but long waiting till 5.00pm for check in. I hv made reservation a month ahead for 3 adults in a room instead given 2 adults in a room and finally just provided a roll in bed to solve my request. Customer service need to be counted.

Good hotel and nice staffs! However, the location is quite far from shopping centre such as Tsim Tsa Tsui. However, there's a MTR station right under the hotel.
