Split into two areas, there are the newer and nicer decorated rooms and the older but still comfortable rooms in the main building. Good facilities and an easy walk to BTS & other transport. An ok choice for Sukhumvit Rd area.

had a little angst after reading a few reviews. ultimately, turned out to be an okay experience. contrary to what's suggested elsewhere, the hotel is a short walk (3-5 minutes) off sukhumvit road on soi 15. the hotel has a restaurant and small convenience store attached. the room was nice and nicely appointed. the light/ac controls bedside require a little attention for mastery. check in was fairly easy. check out a bit more complicated but nothing major. wi-fi is available in the lobby and in the restaurant, though they appear to be separate networks. in all, not a bad experience and contrary to other reviews, i could easily recommend this facility.

We stayed in the apartment part of the hotel, acorss the road from the main buildings. The taxi had not heard of it so it took a little time to get there. The main living room was large with a large bedroom and a small kitchen and bathroom. This had more space than a lot of people have in their homes. The structive was a bit drab and dingy, but the aprartments were clean and cool. The cost for 2 apartments was less than we usually spend on one hotel room in the hotel we usually use. There is a swimming pool in the main hotel in a pretty courtyard, but only fully sunlight at miday.

Strategically located at Sukhumvit Soi 15, near the Asoke BTS or MRT station, the hotel offers very comfortable stay. Though dining place for breakfast in a little small, it offers a good range of varieties. Highly recommended.

These are beautiful old long-stay apartments, well equipped with stove, microwave, refrigerator and all of the necessities needed. The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, and the bath amenities quite nice. The two negatives were the LONG wait for food to be served in the restaurant, and an obnoxious hotel clerk; when checking out accusing us of using the mini bar, when in fact the hotel had not properly stocked it. I'd stay there again.

Large room with good facilities. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Soi 15 not a particularly good walking street due to poor sidewalks but the location is close to everything and easily accessible by taxi.

Location is good being 7 minutes walk to 2 skytrain stations. New builds are being constructed around the apartments so either ask in advance for a quiet room or be prepared to get up early (work starts at 7.30am). I would go back to the apartments. Make sure you ask at reception for (and get) a metered taxi not the double or triple the price red ones (that call themselves metered but are not) that wait out side the apartments. By law all taxis should use their meters.

this place is very compact , and staffs are all friendly. that's why i stay all the time. but i just worry year by year rates had been getting up .

Have stayed in many hotels in the US50 - US100 range in the Sukumvit area and would rate the Royal president hard to beat. Very, very impressed for the price. Will be my preferred hotel in that area now.

Quite a good place to stay, except they charge extra 5% if you choose to pay by credit card and also it is 5mins walk to the main Sukumvit road. On the whole the hotel is nice, spacious, clean and value for money.

No regret staying there and will definitely consider staying again.

Soi 15 is well situated in the entertainment and business area. The property is about 6 minutes walk from Asok BTS skytrain, and Mass Transit system.
