"The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The location of the Hotel to the City is only a slow 15 minute stroll along St Kilda Rd along the park and gardens. The only draw back is the lack of parking around the Hotel other than that a very fine stay we had" - robert black

"Royce Hotel rooms and facilities were better than i expected. It's only 5 min walk to tram stop and there's a tram every 5-10min, it takes 10min to get to the city.
We had free breakfast with our stay which was fantastic.
The entrance is very elegant and nice ambience to it...eventhough it's a small hotel it still has the big 5 star hotels image!
The bedroom is decent size as well as very neat and tidy which is why i only stay in 4-5 star hotels....bathroom is also very clean only the shower floor tiles is a bit old but it's clean and no mould presents...
Staff are very helpful and friendly.

"The smaller rooms have yet to be renovated and in no way match the lobby of the building. Our room smelt like an ex-smokers room with too much air freshener and had black mould around the edges of the shower.
The restaurant was closed 3 days over easter and only substandard "pub food" room service was available.
The security in the hotel is lax also. Housekeeping left our door wide open all day (with valuables exposed) after cleaning it. " - Daniel Morse
