"We (my husband and son) just loved the location and the friendliness of the area. The apartment was so large from the bathroom, kitchen and Living room. Ocean front with the waves beating against the shore how wonderful that was. Once we learned the area we found out we were in the right place. To think if were in cairns where the tide goes out and it is just mud or Port Douglas where many hotels can't even see the water. How disapointing that would be........ Not at Roydon Beachfront it was just great!! We would stay there over and over again. Also I told a Travel Agent about the location and she wrote everything down. "The apartments far exceeded our expectations. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which had lovely sea views. The balcony was very spacious and private. The beach was just across the road and restaurants right next door. Only 15 minutes from Cairns city, we found The Royden to be absolute paradise. Much more relaxing there than in the city.
