RS Seaside Hotel Pattaya

After complaining about the odour of my bathroom after flushed, the staff fixed it. There are no hairdryer provided. It setting right next to the beach and you may enjoy your breakfast or chatting time with seaview. We found a good restaurant, massage there which is in walking distance and very close to the 7 eleven. The one potential drawback is that it's located toward the southern end of the Jomtien Beach strip, which makes it quiet but also distant from the more popular bars and restaurants.

Excellent quiet hotel, next to beach, breakfast was basic but they would change the 'meat' for egg's etc. We had balcony room over the pool, very nice, very quiet - we moved here because our first hotel was rubbish and extended our stay twice. Round the corner from the BKK airport bus stop. Staff friendly.

Good budget hotel with a nice swimming pool across the road to beach. Breakfast not bad but same every day. Free internet but only in reception area staff not very friendly. Close to 7/11 and local foods easy access to songtel and cheap. The hotel is located in a more quiet area of jomtien beach.

This is a simple hotel, quite far along Jomtien beach but it offers a nice pool area at the back. Balcony rooms look over the pool, not the sea as I had expected.

budget priced hotel. had to go elsewhere for breakfast,always the same 2 unattractive eggs dumped on a bit of toast. bit far away from the main drag but positioned nicely opposite the beach

This es a good place to relaxation, quite and fine location near the beach.

very good value for money, right across from the beach. Staff lovely. Basic but adequate. Fresh bedding and towels nearly every day. A bit out of the way, right at the end of Jomteine Beach, but easy enough to jump on the 'bus' (pick ups with padded benches along each side) Only cost 10baht each, along the beach front into the hustle and bustle. 20baht each to go to Pattaya beach. Lots of nice eating places.

Overall, if you want cheap and can put up with the negatives, stay here. Located in quieter part of Jomtien, directly across the road from beach. But very limited eating choices here (hotel itself has no restaurant). We booked 2 rooms - 1 Standard and 1 Deluxe "poolside view". The additional cost for Deluxe was not worth it - you get a sink bench like a kitchenette, but no cooking facilities, plates or utensils - useless. The 'poolside view' was useless unless you were on 1st or 2nd floor. Higher floors look down on postcard-sized pool and see virtually nothing. Standard room had a musty smell the whole time. Same breakfast (egg, ham, toast) every morning was boring & probably unhealthy if you stay 4 days like us - just add some fruit and it will be good. Biggest complaint - they use exchange rate of 35 Baht for USD, more than 10% higher than current rate. It has not been 35 for more than 2 years. You can't pay in USD with credit card - only cash. This is a rip-off.

A well run hotel. Might be a bit too far south for those who like to party.

It is still pretty new so there are some things to sort out. Many light switches do not work and not clear which light and which switch belong together. The pump on the roof makes a lot of noise and the pump room should be sound insulated and closed, else the rooms direct under the room have each time this burst of disturbing noise and vibration. Can all be easy improved, good luck

A small cozy hotel. The hotel has a free internet at the lobby which is quite convenient. Recommend for a few day stay with the cheap price and the hotel is located by the sea (just 5 steps away).

This hotel is ideal for those who want a quiet break, but is too far from the buzz of Pattaya if that's your preference. Hotel rooms were quite large and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful, as far as their English would allow. The one drawback was the breakfast which was not a buffet, but a set egg, ham, sausage and toast with juice and coffee every day. There was no cereal or fruit for those who prefer something healthier or less heavy. Cable tv offered only news channels or local Thai programmes.

This is an excelletn hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast is not upto American standards. However the rate justifies your getting it elsewhere. They need to learn how to make fresh coffee and serve the meat hot.Also, a serving of fruit would be nice. I had a lovely room which had been updated recently. It had a full size refigerator. The water pressure and hot water were abundant. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Reasonable price, good location but poor breakfast pretty much same every day,no milk or serial for the kids.

Very good value, right on the beach. Free wireless internet in the lobby, but not in the rooms. Pleasant staff. Overall a very good basic hotel. I would definitely go back.

A nice, clean hotel with big rooms and friendly staff. Only a stone's throw from the beach, but quite a trek to/from Pattaya downtown, so more suitable for beach bums than those visiting for the Pattaya nightlife. We booked for 5 days and ended up staying 2 weeks.
