Getting there:Exit onto the Tullamarine Freeway from the airport heading towards the city. Take the Bell Street exit on the Tullamarine Freeway and drive approximately 10 minutes along Bell Street. Rydges Bell City is located on the corner of Hotham Street and Bell Street on the right hand side of the Road. If you’re coming via public transport, the nearest stops are Bell Station (on the Epping train line) and Bell Street / Plenty Road (on the 86 tram).
Check-in Procedure:A valid credit card will be requested from the occupant of the room when checking in. For travellers without a credit card, photo ID will be requested and a bond for incidental charges will be required at check-in. Bonds vary by hotel and length of stay.
Car parking:Both outdoor and underground parks are available. Parking is charged at $5 per 24 hour period. Access to the underground carpark is via Gate 3 on Hotham Street (off Bell Street).
Child Policy:Under 12 free of charge
The room was nice, with a big glass window. A bit of road noise. Bed was comfortable, but the room had the world's tiniest bathroom. If you're obsese, you will struggle. Staff were slow off the mark but friendly. Only stayed one night. Location was chosen due to proximity to a function. Easy to get to with traffic lights at entrance, and masses of parking.
Staff were very efficient, room service was great. Loved having the gym onsite and parkng was a breeze. Only drawback was the people in the room next door were noisy both nights i was there.

My wife and I were very impressed by this modern Hotel complex. Our room was very clean, spacious and fresh and the view over the northern suberbs from the full wall window was to die for. very pleasamt stay.
Hotel room looked smart but not very functional - top cupboards too high to reach, shower water leaked on to bedroom carpet, shelves too narrow in bathroom, wardrobe door couldn't be fully opened because of door-closer on room entry door. All this in a new hotel, disappointing. But hotel facilities excellent, food good and service friendly.
a very nice rom large and well furnished. we had a great view over the suburbs which looked nice at night. it was a great location for access to the northern suburbs such as LaTrobe University's Bundoora campus
Good location for northern edge of Melbourne city. Refurbishment is good though bathroom lights disturb partner during the night. Disappointing that tea and coffee provided is only available in large packs - none "free" and what is there would serve 10- 12 - you have to buy the lot.
We stayed at Rydges Hotel Bell City Melbourne for 5 nights over the Xmas break and were very impressed with the facilities. Our room was ultra- modern and very clean.The Chill Restaurant and Bar was open till all hours and served wonderful food. The Motel is walking distance to the tram and rail.We look forward to staying there again and highly recommend it.
Good location for my work at the Northlands Shopping Centre. Would stay there again
the hotel was divided into two sections. ( the hotel and the budget rooms ) it smelled like Indian curry in the lift and the hall way. The shower in the room was very small and the water was leaking out of it ( nearlly drop dead on the wet floor ). And finally. the window blinds didn't cover the windows very well, it gets very bright early in the morning. Didn't have a good stay.
A comfortable and enjoyable stay. The view from our room was superb. The location was ideal for the purpose of our visit and it was easy to get to. Ample parking available. We would stay again.

When I drove past this hotel I took a look at it and said to my partner, "Wow, I wish we were staying there." A little further down the road my partner realised that it was, in fact, the hotel I had booked for us. It was beautiful, the service was fantastic and there are many great facilities. Make sure you use the spa on the rooftop, it's fantastic. I can't wait to stay there again!
