Rydges Hideaway Resort Fiji

"This is a great place for families, always something going on run by enthusiastic and friendly staff. The whole site is more cramped than some other Coral Coast hotels, but there are quiet spots if you don't have kids. Breakfast is great and included in the price; the rest of the food is so-so. "The first two nights were problematic, the airconditioning broke and a fuse blew which meant we had to move to a different bure at 11:30 at night. After that, the resort was fine. The food is magnificent!!!!! Well priced with HUGE portions. A 1L bottle of water was about $5 fijian dollars, which is reasonable. The staff were for the majority of the time extremely helpful and the pool although crowded at lunch times was both beautiful and relaxing as well as always clean. Loved the outdoor shower, exactly what was needed in the middle of a fijian summer day. Refreshing and private. Overall great resort with a couple of rough edges. " - Susan Sedgwick
