Had on website smoking/nonsmoking then had to pay $20 extra for balcony facing main road to smoke suggest website update re same service very good staff polite just a hassle having to pay extra for services advertised on you website. Thanks
No Business area for internet connection unless you brought your own PC. Couldn't join their discount club as their PC to join was not working - didn't even offer a temporary membership or such like. Apart from this it was a clean friendly hotel and the reasturant was excellent except the special meal with bottomles wine actually meant special meal with one glass of wine.
Great value for money. Only issue was that the shower door leaked so the entire bathroom was wet after my husband and I had showers. The parking was great. They made up to pull out bed for my little girl--she was very comfortable. Enjoyed breakfast the next day too.
very happt stay would recomend
The Hotel and setting were good but the Staff i feel need some training in people skills especially in th Restrant area were the service i thought was poor as did my wife who was a highly trained silver service waitress yes i would return there as i say the setting was good.
This is one of the best maintained hotels I have stayed at with friendly helpful staff and good service. I will definately be staying here again.
Overpriced for this location. Generally clean, however, attention needs to be paid to cobwebs accumulating on window frames. $12 for a glass of house chardonnay wine, cost of breakfast and internet access was a total rip off.
We've stayed here 3 times; it was originally chosen because it is the only 4 star hotel in the area, but each time we have been very impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms. We like the location - in a relatively quiet area yet within easy reach of a range of shopping centres.
I found the staff in the Rydges Restaurant to be unhelpful, unpleasant and one of them was quite rude. When asked if we could order drinks we were advised we "had to wait until the waitress had taken our order then she would do drinks". When we ordered 2 bottles of wine it was placed on the table without ice buckets and again when we asked for them "we were told we would have to wait until we had ordered our meals". This was a shame because the staff at Reception were very nice, helpful, pleasant, courteous and efficient.
During Breakfast the coffee service was confusing. Coffe available in a urn and also espresso but nobody offering nor anyone to ask.
Overall very happy with the accommodation. The pizza we ordered through room service was a real let down - not up to stabdard for this level of accommodation.
The staff were very professional and the room very comfortable. Secure parking access good and facilities excellent. Proximity to freeway good too.
Modern facility, coffee needs to improve, great decor
aquafit gym across the road is a great asset for the hotel
Happy with the location & service
