Rydges Hotel Cronulla Beach

The staff were most obliging at this hotel, even taking care of my bike in a room. Everything clean and in good order. Lovely views.

Good size room, suburb ocean views, beautiful sunrise. A bit on the noisy side, able to hear other room doors opening and closing, fair bit of street noise (was on the 5th floor)

Alltogether a nice hotel. Service not so good, as we asked for a baby cot at time of booking, also asking reception at check in if this had been organised, it never arrived!

Our room was on the "Kingsway" and was very noisy with car noise which went on until 1.30am.

The sliding door that accessed the main balcony did not shut properly so we had a whole night of howling wind coming directly into the room, next to the bed. Apart from making the room very cold (even with the heating on) it was also extremely noisy, waking us up several times through the night. Not good enough. Will not be staying again.

We stayed at Rydges Cronulla because our son had his wedding reception in Cronulla. The hotel was absolutely first class - the view sensational (pity about the weather!) and the staff were equal to any we have encountered throughout the world. Well done all of you - we will definitely be staying at more Rydges in future!

Hotel is in a great position-just across the road from the beach. Restaurants (with plenty of choices)-movies and shops 200 metres away in the other direction. The train station is approx 750 metres away and easy to access (it takes about 1 hour to reach the city of Sydney). When booking tell reception that you would like breakfast and the price drops approx A$5.00. I would stay there again and the staff are great.

Asked for an early check in, but 1 room wasnt available until late in afternoon, and our bags were left in lobby next to internet kiosk and out of site of reception. Room service arrived at 5.00pm on one day and then complained as we were showering to go out for dinner and they had to wait. Also heard another guest complaining as he wanted to check in at 5.00pm and his room wasnt ready. Also rooms were too small for triples, that they advertised. Also a common complaint with other hotels as well, if you book a couple of rooms, months in advance, why can they never have them on at least the same floor?

The hotel is excellently situated. It's not that far out of Sydney and Cronulla hosts a huge array of shops. The meal (dinner) was huge. Nicely presented and the service was very warm and friendly. The view from your room is absolutely fabulous. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

As it was Christmas Day and Boxing Day the hotel supplied, without any prior notice, a minimum room service, i.e. change towels only, this despite charging full seasonal rates.

The hotel is extremely well located with views over the beach and ocean. The rooms also have small balconies with table and chairs. There are facilities to prepare and keep food. Good value.

I always enjoy staying at this hotel. It overlooks Cronulla Beach and is so pleasant and relaxing. The walk around the esplanade is a delight. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Had an ocean facing room that was very light and airy. One of the best things was that the curtains were of sufficient quality to keep the light out and allow us a very good nights sleep.

Had a great stay at the Rydges Cronulla. The location and the friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable.

Room was 'well used' but functional. View from 7th floor room was fantastic. Location is noisy - at intersection of busiest street in town, but close to good restaurants and of course the fabulous beach!
