"The room was a good size; the location is great; the decor is nice; the food is good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. You can hear the trams trundling passed, but this isn't a bad thing - the hotel is really accessible for public transport. A lamp in the room had a lightbulb that wasn't put in properly, a worry, and the cable DSL didn't work; neither did the desk phone, but wireless hotspots can be picked up easily & the other phone did work. Rydges on Swanston isn't as nice as other Rydges, but none the less is a good hotel in a great location." - Anonymous

From Melbourne Airport take the Tullamarine Freeway until the Flemington Road exit. Continue down Flemington road and turn left onto Gratten Street. Turn right at Swanston Street and Rydges Carlton is located 25 metres down on the right hand side, opposite Lincoln Square Gardens. |
