"the room was overall quite nice, good facilities. reception staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful despite a very busy period, they were also doing extra work as they were taking housekeeping inquiries as well. We went to the bar for drinks and the bar staff were hopeless, they were unhelpful, didnt know their alcohol and walked off mid service and was not aware of promotions. they also kept telling us to ask other people when they couldnt answer a question, when they should be the ones finding out for us. location is fantastic, short stroll to pitt st mall and other major shopping and food outlets. fantastic little cafe next door for brekky if u wanted to venture outside the hotel." - Anonymous
"Centrally located which is vital for a short stay. My double room was a decent size and comfortable. Bathroom facilities (and facilities generally) were a little jaded but quite acceptable. I would be happy to stay at the Rydges again.
